Talentless? Probably not. She's a talented singer, for sure, marketing genius, and as someone mentioned she's apparently classically trained at the piano. Is she a great songwriter? No. She writes good hooks, if she writes them at all, but the music is boring, repetitive, and (to me) downright annoying. Good job on replicating it. Obviously, it lacks studio polish but it's a very good copy.

@200Late It's not so much that the notes are so hard to find, as it is that getting the exact same sound is really easy to do using default tools. It's easy to find the notes; they're in midis all over the internet. It should be hard to duplicate and artist's sound, and it isn't happening here. Maybe it's just that Garageband is stronger than people give it credit for. Either way, it's sort of depressing that consumer tools can get you the same sound of record label equipment.

She has her vocal moments, but that's about it. The only real talent i see she has is how she's been able brainwash the many and milk the music business with "Alice Cooper-like" antics, which seem to be working out so far. Business-wise, great, but musically, not much.

Beatles usually have some crazy chords going on, such as the beginning Hard Day's Night. Also, Guitar synths are a little harder to pull off than in Lady GaGa songs, where synth settings can be duplicated to almost the exact same thing. If I wanted to just duplicate the notes, I would have gone to the music store and bought some Beatles and sheet music. There's more to replicating a song than just the notes.

(LoveGame doesn't even stop there) I haven't exactly heard lyrical genius from any of the other artists you have mentioned either. Garageband is not likely to ever reach 100% as that is theoretically impossible without the original masters. What is sad is how close you can get with consumer software and about one hour of spare time.

macs can use vst ;) they normaly use audio units. but you can vst ;) i use refx nexus vst in garageband.

Macs don't use VSTs. If you're using FL Studio, try using Sytrus preset Edgy. Some fiddling around with that should work, although I had trouble getting it to work on beat.
