Just a suggestion, you might want to add a mirror for downloading. I clicked the second link (first link is dead) and the download didn't start, it just hung. So I cancelled the download and tried to download it again and I have to wait an hour an a half to attempt the download again.

I attempted to install ubuntu on my Nook Color using your turorial. Everything was going fine up until I have to make the connection with Android VNC. I entered the password, host and bit color just the way your instructions said. I'm almost certain the problem is in the port. Could you please help me figure this out. I really need Ubuntu for work. @skeezixmccat It is possible to do, however I believe that you would probably need to port it to be able to run on ARM processors. So, once it's modified to run on the processor it will most likely work just fine. That's just my thoughts on it, I could be wrong though lol.

Ok, so I'm having some issues running the .IMG in the terminal emulator.

Everything works fine get su privileges the scripts starts to run. I get the "please wait booting ubuntu.img... this can takes tome time." warning.

but, then imediately it get "exiting chroot environment and syncing memory to storage.. DO NOT EXIT until finished - doing so may corrupt the ubuntu.img!"

and then returns to the # prompt.

of course vnc won't connect then. any ideas? thanks!
