America shows it's children they do not matter by losing them in vast impersonal schools and treating them like products. I made a close study of a number of high schools in the north-western states and concluded that much of the curriculum is rubbish.
There is a lot of political propaganda too. I read about a class on 'The American Right to Vote.' ??? America is one of the least democratic countries in the western world, with a farcical election system and paralyzed government.
You can't argue these statistics with someone who's successful even if they graduated college or not. College is there as an option for people who don't see other options. I dropped out freshmen year, went to my library to read up on free information and now I'm more successful than most college graduates. Not to mention, if I went to college, I'd still be there and wouldn't have any success because I'm only nineteen. Read books, not statistics.
I'm a highschool drop out and it's clearly not indicative of intelligence (or a lack there-of). There are so many shitty schools/teachers/policies in this nation, that to hold public school education as a standard of intellect is a joke.

Pretty skeptical of the figures in this video. I'd like to see the source supporting his claim that 1/3 of all high schoolers will drop out.
Also the red text was a poor choice with those backgrounds, making it difficult to read.
