  • You Have Motivated mt To Get MY GED , All i have To Do Is Pass The Math Part Of The CAHSEE ..And Ive Taken It 7 Times And still Cant Pass..Thank You So Much =)

  • Its funny how most of the comments on here are bashing the students that have earned their H.S. Diplomas! Why you mad at them for getting a H.S. Diploma?? In Society, A H.S. Diploma is better when they look in your resume. It shows committment for their organization in completeness. Same for earning the H.S. Diploma. Being committed to completing your academics has much greater in value, So a H.S. Diploma is better. I'm not bashing the ones with ged's because everybody has their reasons.

  • I agree in some aspects but then again you can't pack 4 years of HS math, English and the History and sciences. But I do see your point and I think it is good for second chances. I do not think it does replace HS because they do not have Government, Econ and those subjects which really do help in college and higher education , so if you do plan on going to higher education I still recommend HS diploma. No hate intended nothing but love. Intelligence is God given not school given.

  • @andrewwyatt11 Wrong. Intelligence is a subjective trait. What you may consider intelligent someone else might consider stupid. Many people are geniuses, but they are unaware that they are.

    And there is no god.

  • @bnmjy Can I see proof that is subjective? Nor can I show you that it is non-subjective.

  • i thought the GED was really a good choice but from what im hearing it doesnt graduate you from highschool it just gives you like 30 credits so if you dont have so many credits the GED wont work..???

  • I completely agree because people think that since they can solve math problems that are twenty miles long they're intelligent. When, actually, they're wasting their lives studying ignorant shit and clogging their brains with crap that they're not ever going to use in their lives.

  • @MisterAlexadner ahah exactly

  • School got boring in third grade.

  • If anyone failed their GED, can you retake it?

  • @ltony67 yes

  • Im getting my GED i didnt go to school for YEARS for personal reasons...im so excited im getting it :D

  • Having any type of degree doesn't mean shit.

It just means you happen to successfully jump through the hoops they've set up. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Its a test to see if your able to do time consuming mindless tasks for long periods of time without questioning it.

  • well my opinion idk which is better cz am berly gonna take da GED ..Ppl tell me that hs diploma is better ..But idk sumtimes I regret what I done in the past like wasting my time in the streets and not going to class ..NOW I gotta get my credits in order to take the GED ..sumtimes I feel like quiting but am not ..thanks FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO PPL REALLY IGNORANT!

  • I dropped out of highschool on the last month to get my GED, learned everything, all my peers were douches, and just couldn't take it anymore.

  • they both require you to learn a bunch of stuff youll forget in 3 years anyways

  • high school diplomas are cool ,but id rather just get a ged

i hated school, the teachers suck at teaching, i actualy wannah become a teacher so i can teach kids to want to learn instead of doing it because they are supposed to,

  • @jjtheslayer69 why would u be a teacher if u hate school?

  • There's nothing like having your high school diploma. It shows that you have perseverance. Now having a GED doesn't necessarily make you an idiot, but it is much better to strive for your diploma than a GED. Those are my 2 cents.

  • As for people with GEDs not being as smart as those who graduated high-school, I agree with what you said. I've met people with high-school diplomas, and college graduates who aren't smart at all. I think I might get a GED and study network security at a tech school; maybe web design as well. I took a web design course at school, and it was boring. I knew more than the teacher of the course. (We were both self-taught. I learned beforehand through books and the internet, and so did the teacher.)

  • I couldn't agree with your video more. I just started my junior year, and I'm considering going and taking the GED test instead of staying in school. My reason is about the same as yours, I'm just tired of going to school and fooling around with the stuff there. I think what bothers me most about it is the redundancy. Since 8th grade we've just been doing the same work over and over. I'm really bored with it now. Social anxiety also has a little to do with it, but not as much as the boredom. :/

  • Ged and high school are the same, Ask any job employer or job interviewer how they look at the ged and high school diploma, It's the same. It's college degrees which make a difference. Which can be obtained with both a ged and high school diploma.

  • hey man i think i saw you on the wire

  • High school diploma better! Opinion not a Fact! What's the difference High school Diploma: takes 4 yrs of high school, take the SAT, receive a certificate that reads High School Diploma. A GED: Takes about 7hrs, take 5 required test, receive a certificate that reads High School Diploma. It is not a matter of who's smater or dummer let's just say who's the better test taker! Apparently the person taking the GED! Both are something to be proud of but either way your receiving the exact same award!

  • @Kisswish1 Test taker? If your a good test taker, your smart. If your a "bad test taker" your just dumb. Lol, I passed my first 2 years of high school and I seriously didn't do shit, didn't learn shit. Now I am going to work on my GED because High School is a waste of time, but I am still going to high school just for friends lol.

  • @Kisswish1 a ged doesnt read high school diploma. employers frown upon the ged

  • So there it is I have had people all my life trying to make sure I fail at what I know I am good at. I can't help it if some teachers dislike me because I appear better than their children or them! I have a 3.5 gpa, made the Dean's list twice and thanks to everyone who always wanted me to fail you help me appreciate hard work! Good Luck to Everyone taking the GED!

  • You are speaking the truth why would I want to come to school just to socialize. I hated going to that school it was a bad environment and getting my highschool diploma by taking the GED was the best thing that I could have done for myself! My 8th grade home room teacher made sure I didn't get into a good highschool by not allowing me to complete my highschool application form even though I had a higher score than all of the students in my 8th grade class!

  • Well I would have complete highschool I never wanted to not complete high school! Yet, soon as I turned 16 this bitch drop me off of roll because I didn't come to school enough. I didn't come to school enough because I end up having to attend an alternative school with slow, disfunctional children. I couldn't believe that they had the nerve to drop me out off roll when they had children running around doing nothing with themselves, smoking weed in the halls, and fighting.

  • I would have preferred to complete high school the traditional way,but bad choices made by myself caused me to do otherwise.Fast forward to 20 years in the future,I go to sign up at junior college and upon taking the placement test my advisor tells me that I scored higher than new high school graduates taking the same test.Maybe it doesnt measure raw intelligence, but if thats the case what does say about the new grads?

  • Man you speak the mother fucking TRUTH. I could easily pass highschool, EASILY, anybody could, but I would not learn shit. With the GED it's much different that's what I'm moving towards I'm taking some practice tests for it then I am going to take it.

  • i wish i had done that. high school was like torture.

  • I want a GED so bad high school literally I feel like a slave it's just gay I don't even learn or nothing should I drop out or go that despise and dislike high school I mean fuck it im out...

  • aren't teaching these kids ANYTHING ANYTHING A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G not nothing !!!!!!

you like to talk about proper English please use proper grammar

  • aren't teaching these kids ANYTHING ANYTHING A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G not nothing !!!!!!

  • I know a boy who got his GED, he was 15 and hes a millionaire now.

Congrats! You will go far in life!

  • Yep right! Pretty smart to sit at home and teach yourself besides boring classes and extra activities pointless. Hsd classes n nc. Only ged programs in va where I'm currently living

  • I fuckin hated my school and now I found out that I had a good reason bcuz the school is shut down now (I think)...or will be shutting down. And when graduation day came, the room was pretty much empty lol That school was a mess. Seriously, high school diplomas are sorta useless in this economy right now. Yes it may help, but all you need is some knowledge and training on whatever it is you're going for. I decided to do the online high school diploma thing. I just couldn't do high school.

  • Enough said bro ; and i agree to you ! im having problems on tests where i just seem to just get 95 on my class but when it comes to tests i zone out and i jsut dont even know that test when i basicslly know everything on it . but yeah i just think that high school diploma is a good thing btw again GED is not dumb or sttupid because its something to help people get a diploma than not having one at all ... but love how you talked about what happened to you and open;ed up to yourself.

  • My path:

GED - Two Years CC - Four Year Uni - Now Law School.

High School was boring and tedious. I couldn't stand the teachers or the kids. So I decided to take a different path.

  • Thanks man for clearing some of that up. I'm trying to get my parents to sign for me to get my GED, so that info really helps.

I'm pretty smart and all, I just don't want to go to school. I'm tired of it. So just doing a test to get that level of education under my belt unless I decide otherwise is great for me.

  • In high school, I was belittledrated by my fellow students severely to the point where I ditched classes and hung with a bad crowd. All because I was the fat girl they could gang up on because no one at my school wanted to be my friend. My parents couldn't help. The administration refused to help. So I ended up 2 credits short. I'm 23 years old now, working on my GED after at least 4 feaf end jobs. A GED doen's make you stupid. Plenty of HS graduates aren't doing a thing in their lives.

  • @GamingQueen88 I hear u on your situation. Mines was a little similar.

  • Your right man im fucking sick and tired of these stupid ppl thinking the GED is not worth. They can go fuck themselves bro dont even bother responding to these ignorant people.

  • congrats on your ged jaylove47 it is messed up how society looks down upon those who have geds not everyone can go to school and have life handed to them i couldnt go to school cause i had to take care of my dad is that my fault no would i do it again yes life just isnt that easy for some people need to worry more about a persons attitude and capabilities more so then if they went to high school or not but thats life you man up and go on

  • Nothing you do in life guarantees U financial stability but why would U want to add to your handicaps by shooting your self in the foot at the age of 15?

Did it ever occur to you that one day you might find a reason to LOVE knowledge.

Sorry but real talk, Your Diploma Level tells an employer how well adjusted you are and how you conformed to societies demands.

If you're not a rule follower then much respect to you, but the employer is looking for someone follows rules. Can't get mad at him.

  • shitt im not alone thanx sooo much for this vid...hated high schooll also even tho i had my friends and bfs n all that i just felt soo out of place damn thank u!!!!

  • So ya the GED holders are thread as second class citizens in the job market and by the state,You can't join the army without the GED and 15 collage credits, Some of the greats heroes didn't have a HS or GED like Private Yoke in ww1 and Audie x0Murphy in ww2 be way they were give the medal of honor and the army got stupid and now wants people to have a ged to fire a fucking rifle which is not that hard that's why they can't get people to join setting standers to high.

  • @jakeblack1982 During World War 1 and World War 2, we needed all the soldiers we could get. Plus, back then, our society was more labor- and farm-oriented, whereas now our society is more technology-oriented. Therefor, you can't really make that comparison.

  • You can still get your high school diploma with home study course at any age and it is not a fucking GED,which makes it more easy to get a job I look at both and in my state a GED holder gets fucked over with the HOPE scholarship so I want to go to collage on HOPE 500.00 bucks doesn't pay for school which they give a GED holder 1 time grant not a scholarship which is BS if you get a high gpa on your GED then you should get the full cost of the collage your going to payed for.So I'm doing online

  • @jakeblack1982 Yup me too. It's a little expensive but it's worth it. But you have to make sure it's accredited or you're screwed.

  • I completely agree! I dropped out of high school because I wasn't learning anything there, the students tormented me, I was threatened of gang rape, and I have mental illnesses that make being in an environment with a lot of people difficult.

So I got a GED and did really well on it because I am really intelligent. High school just wasn't for me, though.

  • @IDreamOf98 What mental illnesses do you have.. Social Anxiety? I suffered from that too one time still do a lil bit

  • @JAYLOVE47 Yeah, social anxiety and bipolar are the 2 major ones.

Sorry you suffered from social anxiety too. It sucks.

  • @IDreamOf98 Perhaps you should have gone to a different high school?

  • @SargentMugen I did switch schools my senior year and it was just as bad. I only made it a quarter before dropping out. But dropping out was the best thing I could have done for myself. I'm in college now and doing really well.

  • a buddy of mine was confused at first before on the comments down here, when you see the @ symbol before someones name, that means the name at the bottom of that post is speaking to the dude with the @ symbol. maybe you already knew that and like i said before clicke the wrong reply, but just clearin the air for the sukhent dude

  • Oh come on, now your just making stuff up. I'm not illiterate, I think I did quite nicely :-) Good day to you!

  • @smszukhent ugh i hit reply to the wrong person :P

  • @akaivan That is why you should of stayed in school idiot.

  • @littelG333 right cause ur smarter then me because you finished highschool? lol you are pathetic. please get a life and come back here. Your life is so low that you have to come onto youtube and talk sht all day. How old are you? e-thug LOL

  • @akaivan bro im just fucking with you lol, and no i dont talk shit al day, you can check my history.

  • I have a cousin of mine who took the GED, he says that 90% of the students are just a bunch of typical cocky aggressive attitude jungle bunny mother fuckers who thinks they're cool because they get their rocks off being a bag bitch rollin it up and pass it around, cant fucking stand them. Those GED punks are losers who go to great lengths giving a rim job behind class doors for the extra dollar, PATHETIC! Give me a fucking break.

  • Don't add more negativity attacking a group of people taking the appropriate action to better themselves and the world around them. How can you knock someone for improving their life from either picking up where they were forced to leave off, or just fixing past mistakes and not staying down and making a new way for themselves. I give anyone big props for that effort. BTW almost half of all GRADUATED high school students cannot pass a GED test fresh out of high school!

  • If you have an educated opinion on a subject, then I'm the first person to listen and see another persons view, but the harsh language and name calling act is grade school level and quite juvenile. Blind use of profanity is the desperate attempt of a feeble mind trying to express itself. Give your disputes based off of fact and reason, and you will be taken seriously, randomly lashing out as you have makes you come across as a child that has found a keyboard. There is enough crap in this world..

  • @smszukhent You half-illiterate mommy felching douche, give me lists of people who made it successful, and what I mean is who made tons of money with a lousy GED? randomly lashing out is someone who has attacked me first, I didn't start it, the motherfucker did, and made me laugh when he thinks that fucking 16 bucks an hour is something good. No it's not, absolutely not.

  • @littelG333 the value of a dollar is different depending on where you live. if you live around New York or California the value of a dollar is less so 16 an hour dosnt sound like a lot. but if you live around louisiana and mississippi the value of a dollar goes up so 16 dollars an hour is pretty good. my dad dont even have a GED an he has his own house truck boat and business. so people can do good even without an education.

  • My "ignorance" dont mean shit in the real world, this is the net.

  • too bad you wont be to get a job paying 20 bucks an hour with a GED lolers

  • @littelG333 hmm im making 16.75$ an hour + commission. Just a matter of time untill i will be making 20 an hour. at 20 years old. So please just stfu.

  • @akaivan go fuck yourself butt-hurt faggot, thats how most job for GED losers are, congratulations on make it far asshole, be proud you make a lousy 16 bucks an hour lmao.

  • @akaivan HAHAHAHA awww dont be butt-hurt because my comment, thats how most GED losers arre, you make a lousy 16 bucks an hour, bravo! real accomplishment, im sure you will go far in life with that, go keep cutting more lawns as your side job to make it look like you earn more income, faggot.

  • @littelG333 akaivan is 20 years old making 16 an hour, I'm not sure where your from, but the current US economy doesn't allow for high end starting wage. So a 20 year old making over 30,000 is pretty good considering most that age are making under 20,000 if employed at all! But I have no need to call you out, you did that on your own when you lashed out at someone that called you on a completely ignorant comment. Judging negatively based on a lack of information shows your true caliber!

  • @smszukhent Awwwww...here comes his boyfriend to make him feel better, hey! im sorry, does he need a tissue? I mean, is it that bad that he did not reply back and have to have someone else do it for him? LMAO pussy. Yeah of course, tthats the price you paying for goofing off being a loafing fat fuck sitting around in your mommies basement eating the chips off your food stamp money. If you would of gotten your standard high school diploma, you'd get a better playing job.

  • @smszukhent its 16 + commission. do you know what that is? ur pretty pathetic hating everyone on this comments. Thats just sad bro get a life please.

  • @akaivan Hey man the sukhent dude is the one that was stickin up for ya, i think ya clicked on the wrong reply:)

  • @HugeHungarian lol i hit reply to the wrong person :(

  • You can't get a HSD with a D average. I know because I failed because I had a D in Art?? High School isn't easy. And the only people who say it is are the people who never finished it. I mean I dropped out at 16 not because I didn't want to be there but because I had family issues but I don't think High School is all that easy. But I also don't think the GED test is all that easy either because it's not. But I also don't think that your smarter is you have one instead of the other.

  • FUCK ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HATE "US" FOR HAVING G.E.D'S.....

  • Most teachers will argue that the GED lacks the depth and breadth found in a traditional high school education. Interestingly enough, it was not created for high school dropouts. It began as a means for World War II veterans to receive their high school educational accreditation without actually having to go back to high school after the war. In 1999 more than half a million people passed the GED, out of the over 700,000 who took it.

  • Each of the services strictly limit the number of high school dropouts (which includes GED holders) who can enlist each year. This is because years of military enlistment statistics have shown that this category of enlistees fail to complete their entire first term of military service at about twice the rate of those with a high school diploma or those with college credits.

  • Fuck those people. Seriously.

  • WTF U talking about a GED is a highschool diploma.

  • @1976tech In my state, it is a high school diploma. Its another way of earning it.

  • rop out. Not just for not liking school! My consular has watched at least 30 people be very successful with the GED with very well paying jobs. So those of you throwing out biased opinions ; please do your research before you speak with your closed minds okay? Damn

  • Okay in my state a GED is a High School Diploma. Its another way of getting your high school diploma. Is the test easy? From what i heard ; no its not. It is if you study your ass off, but if you dont than its not at ALL! I know at least 3 people that have graduated my high school not knowing how to read or write that well at all, and I'm obtaining my GED soon and i read and write VERY WELL! The daytime school setting might just not be for everyone, and people have other reasons for wanting to d

  • @ImSoBrandon 15% of GED recipients who go to college earn a degree, compared to 65% of those who went with a high school diploma. GED is mistakenly thought to be an equivalency diploma by many people. In fact, it is not an equivalent. GED stands for General Education Development. It is a certificate issued to those who pass the exam, showing that they have at least a basic ability level.

  • @21142505 It is considered a High School Diploma. My guidance consular showed me a paper that said so! And i watched a video on youtube and it said "High School Equivalency" underneath it. Im not sure where you are from but in MD it is considered a high school diploma, just another way of getting it. You can get any degree with a GED, because you can pretty much 100% go to Community College with a GED. And from there you can transfer to a university.

  • @21142505 Any idiot can graduate high school. You can be passed with a D average, that basically means you didnt really learn anything while in high school. You can copy people in high school and still get good grades. Just because it stands for General Education Development, doesn't mean it isn't a high school equivalency.

  • PRETTY SOON IM GONNA TAKE IT AND PASS!! YEAA!

  • man, i have my ged.. i scored 620 with honors, and a full scholarship to college (im from NM) I wouldn't have gotten that with a diploma. Thanks for making this video!!

  • High School Diploma shows that you have focus and determination to go to school 12 years and pass. A GED is for cowards who want to take the easy way through things plus, a high school diploma is better.

  • @CruellerGalaxy0 If you call passing school with C's and D's better than dropping out and taking a HARD test smarter, your retarded. Because thats what half the people do in school, C's and D's. And if you watched this video, im pretty sure he said he was on honor roll twice. And you said its an easy way out.. Um, are you implying that the GED test is easy? Because if so you should be doing your research a little more you stereotypical prick

  • FACT: A GED DIPLOMA IS A BETTER MEASURE OF INTELLIGENCE! Here's why people - 1) To acquire a GED one must score higher than 40% OF PASSING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS! 2) Seniors have 4 YEARS of preparation to pass an easier test (relying on memorization of fresh knowledge typically) versus the GED graduate who usually has had less years preparing due to leaving school early, or in the other instance having been out of school for many years, thus relying more on actual application of learned knowledge..

  • On the other hand most ppl associate a HSD as a better indicator of work ethic, following through w/ goals, attendance, etc..which I can understand. But most ppl know nothing of or think about any of the things in my earlier post unfortunately. Therefore most ignorantly favor an HSD over a GED, so as far as what is better suited to the likes of the society we live in? It's obvious what most favor. Me personally I passed my GED with honors awarded & got a head start in life over my classmates.

  • @TruSchoolDefenda

I dropped out in 11th grade and studied for a month, got my GED. Funny though, because from what I heard about my old "friends" went on to Adult High School, which means they failed the 12th grade and had to redo it all over again. Some even twice.

  • Comment removed

  • I got my high school education in less than a day. Where all you graduates took four years to get that shit. Plus A high school diploma only says that you showed up for class enough for a passing grade. I did better than most graduates do in one day versus their entire high school career.

  • i dropped out of highschool and my life time dream was/is joining the army or marines figured i could always get my GED but they do not accept them thats pretty upsetting

  • @crusader1614

    THEY DON'T?!

    Are you in the US?

I also always wanted to join, it saddens me to hear this...

  • @crusader1614 maann, i would have done some research, im so sorry you got burned, Here's some good thoughts towards you.. good luck

  • You're right. But I guess the mentality is why should I bust my ass for 4 years. While a person on a whim feels like they don'y wanna go to school anymore takes a test, and that somehow equals the four years of work I had to go through. Granted situations come up and people have to leave school. But if I was an employer honestly speaking wouldn't you favor a highschool diploma over a G.E.D? And that's probably where that thinking comes from im guessing.

  • difference? high school diploma takes 4 years to complete.....a GED on the other hand took me 6 hours of studying and 8 hours of testing and got 90 percent placement better than high school seniors in all categories

  • @AllForTheGame Real unfortunate that a GED won't land you a spot in any reputable university for majors that are worth getting. Kiss your chances at sciences, engineering, and business goodbye.

  • @blazinhomo you can transfer to a university as an undergraduate.

  • @AllForTheGame what?

  • @blazinhomo what ever major you want to take at a university you take the preliminary classes at a community college for 2 years, after you complete the qualified courses you can transfer to the university and complete your degree there.

  • @AllForTheGame and what prelim courses are avail at colleges that pertain to science and engineering? As far as I know, none.

  • @blazinhomo what ever university you want to go to you need to knwo what courses you have to take for that major that they require you to complete before you qualify to transfer to that university. Some community colleges can offer you the classes and some dont.

  • right on i agree with you 100%! i have had way tomany bad obstaclesiun my life and have had no choice but to get a ged. yet i am smart, scored top in the countryu on all state test, and more. but i had some real bad shit happen. so im going to get my ged now. i just hate how people think theyre better with a diploma. i know people that are stupid as fuck with diplomas, and i know smart AND dumb people with geds

  • GED stands for GET ERR DONE!!.....

  • just got my GED certificate last week ..Now i got to look for a decent job

  • lol its 19X you were off by 1 you fail, lol just kidding man. you are soooo right!!!! i am bout to take my exam in December of this Yr.

  • GED = High School Diploma

  • its harder getting a GED then a high school diploma.

If you got straight Ds in school you can still get a high school diploma vs in the GED you wont pass if you get under 410 in each subject.

  • i really dont know the diffrence this days me and my friend both are in the welding buisness and hes also a high school dropout but he got called before i did because he had more experience am guessing maybe in proffesional jobs it will matter!

  • thanks for making this video dude, it really helps me a lot in motivation as i am trying to get my GED right now. thankyou for the support :)

  • The GED program was never meant for,"dummies," or high-school dropouts. It was only used for soldiers after World War 2 to use to look for jobs. GED is a high-school diploma. Most of all with HSD don't use it and only want to work at dead-end jobs all their lives. But guys like myself want to exceed, but couldn't because of somethings in school.

  • All yall criticising blah blah blah ima keep it short and simple its good to have a HSD and its good to have a GED i Rather have a GED or a HSD then nothing at all and look like a dumbass in todays society. Ok you can have a HSD and apply for college and you can have a GED and apply for college Now try to apply for college if you dont have neither....lol yeaa good luck with that one, If you dont have your HSD its ok get your GED its the SAME THING they are both HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS DUMBASS.

  • I actually was at a situation in school that didn't allow me to receive a high school diploma, so I'll go for a GED instead. It's all the same. Everyone with a GED aren't idiots/Low IQ/inferior. That's more of the HS diploma recipients.

  • I passed! haha! I PASSED. I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Language Arts Reading - 540

    Language Arts Writing/Essay - 600

    Math - 500

    Science - 440

    Social Studies - 500

    Total Score: 2580

    Average: 516

  • @Firebirrd85 congratulations!!!!!!

  • @Firebirrd85 thats not too good, just a little over passing.

  • @Firebirrd85 I took my GED in January and passed too! Now I'm in college! =)

  • @Firebirrd85 congrats man congrats i hope u obtain much higher degrees in your life

  • look at the economy right now*

  • and not to burst ur bubble here dude, but ur teacher is JUST being nice. its not the same. when you get ur GED ur missing out on an exam ur supposed to be taking. ppl with a HCD gets tht. and yeah it might be easy for YOU but for other ppl its hard. ur just different. us army, and the marines wont accept ppl with a GED not even sanitation ppl. unless you go back to school after u get ur GED and work with them to get a HSD. noe ur stuff

  • @lShadowcatl Wow, you can't even spell half of what you're saying in that post. I've known many with, or without GEDs who've succeeded in life. Also, you're wrong. The military will accept GEDs along with college credits, or completion of college all together. Research, son before you make yourself look anymore stupid.

  • actually YOU do ur research. how are you going to tell me, my older cousins have taken the GED. most colleges take on ppl with a HSD FIRST and then they look at the the ppl with a GED. they are not the SAME bucko. look at the economy right noe. a GED is worthless now. You have to work 10x as hard now. so tht you can get urself up there. so its NOT lies, its the TRUTH. and like i said before buddy there are SOME ppl with a GED tht can get a very good job. read b4 u say

  • @lShadowcatl they look at both people equal

  • @lShadowcatl college is the only education that is worth something now and it doesnt matter if they have a HSD or GED both of them are "worthless".

College is the only thing that matters

  • I took half of my test today and it was EASY. The writing part and essay...EASY AS HELL. Shit I could have done that when I was in 5th grade. The math was so/so, I had trouble on some questions, so I guessed on the ones I didn't know. I have the other 3 tomorrow. I just hope I pass so I can move forward with my life. GED is not hard but it's not something you can pass just like that. You need to have all the knowledge crammed in your head. Teachers give diplomas just to get rid of people.

  • My teacher told me 98% of colleges and employers accept the GED the same as a HS diploma. There is NO difference between them. Those of you who bash the GED have no idea what you are talking about. Try doing some research before you throw out biased opinions.

  • its not if they are smarter or not.. you learn MORE in high school. cause you are learning pointless things. GED just gets to the basics. like they dnt learn the past of america or anything. but anyway. more places accept ppl with HSD than a GED. seriously i dnt even noe whats the point on dropping out of HS when you still have to go to school for a GED. it's stupid. waste of time. and not only tht but you get better jobs with a HSD than a GED. but there are SOME ged ppl who get good job

  • @lShadowcatl do some research before you throw out lies. Both of them are the same!

  • I GOT MY GED A MONTH AGO AND I PASSED IT WITH FLYING COLORS, PPL I KNOW THAT ACTUALLY GRADUATED H.S. ARE SLOWER AND DUMBER THAN ME,

  • i dropped out when i was 16 and now i'm trying to get a ged

  • I was always considered the smart girl in school and nobody ever suspected that I was short on credits. I attended all 4 years of HS but needed 2 elective credits to graduate. I don't see how having my GED hurts anybody. A HS grad can feel above me if they want to and they have certainly earned the right to feel that way. At least I am moving on with life and doing something. I am fluent in 3 languages and am working in my 4th. I plan to become an interpreter and earned a full scholarship.

  • I cant believe people are saying that you can not join the military with a GED. In fact, every branch of the military accepts ged holders, though its true each branch has a set percentage of ged holders it will take each year. I believe the army allows only 15% of its recruits each year to have a ged while the airforce allows only 5%. Highschool should have taught you to back up your arguments with supporting data. Perhaps you should have sought a GED instead..

  • this is america. everyone is stupid. we are like the dumbest nation on earth. why don't you all go read a book.

  • yeah man I feel you school was just boring and uninteresting sure theres the daily drama and stuff but its boring and the teachers dont even want to be there so I got my GED and like you I scored very high but now im trying to get a job and its hard because employers still look at people with High School diploma first and to tell you the truth school did not really teach me much most of my smarts have come from my mom tuotoring me

  • A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA SHOWS THAT A PERSON IS DEDICATED AND VALUES EDUACATION MORE BECAUSE IT TAKES 4 YEARS OF SCHOOL AND MANY REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND FOR A GED YOU MUST PASS SOME TYPE OF STANDARDIZED TEST AND IT ONLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MONTHS TO GET A GED AND REMEMBER PEOPLE WITH GEDS DID IN FACT QUIT GRAD SCHOOL AND MOST OF THEM GO BACK AND GET IT WHEN THERE ABOUT 25 OR 30 YEARS OLD THAT SHOWS NO DEDICATION THEY COULD NOT DO

  • A GED AND A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA IS BASICALLY THE SAME THING IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING ANYBODY CAN GET A GED OR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA WE NEED MORE PEOPLE WITH COLLEGE DEGREES

  • @MrTet305 Yes, we do have more people with college degrees. You know where they are? On the welfare lines and kitchens looking for a meal, because they thought they were too overqualified to work at Best Buy, Wal-mart or even a grocery store. Most careers today have little to no employment. It'd be better to take that MBA in business and open your own business than to work at some company.

  • im happy for you to be sucessful and gives a fuck about haters you make your self higher . GED IS BETTER THEN SCHOOL > i think . thanks for your 6 mins and 55 seconds i loved it every second of it

  • besides foreign language everything you learn in schoold is just repeats from the 8th grade. When I was in school I went 1 day a week and just showed up for tests and I blew the bell curve for everyone. I got tired of the BS from teachers and "jocks" and just got my GED and went onto college. GED and a diploma theses days are about the same.

  • It doesn't matter anymore if you have a HS diploma or a GED it's the same exact shit. You won't get a job right now even if you have a HS diploma. The only thing that matters nowadays are COLLEGE degrees.

GED/ HS Diploma = same thing

college is what matters the most...

  • Your dad should have put a bullet in your head when you told him you is gay

  • What about college?

  • when your in college..and you get your associates degree..nobody is gonna care if you have a high school diploma or GED, when you transfer to a university.. all that they care about is what you have NOW..i know people that graduated from high school and they did not know how to read well or even spell their name or simple words. and not all people that get GED is a drop out, theres many reasons for why people had to get it.

  • "I just stopped going to school because I just wasn't interested after about 14 years old."

I guess that tells other people, future employers, and admissions officers where your priorities lie.

Some people were willing to make the committment and you weren't.

You're right, it's not about scores...it's about priorities.

You're obviously bitter about your poor choices.

That's what happens in the real world.

    Welcome to reality.

  • Actually GED = You're dumber because you don't even take the time in high for the fucking 4 years it takes to get it. You drop out of school for a few months and get a "GED" after a few months of the program. So you don't even conprehend the reality of work and time that it takes to experience those four years of studies. GED is for people who want it easier. And I know this because my brother did it. He's smart but he could have been smarter if he would've stayed.

  • @UnidenExposed Getting your GED isnt easy AT ALL. You have to study a huge book and pass a 7 hour battery of tests.. 7 HOURS KID !!! Put it like this, it takes a complete dumb ass to graduate high school. You can get D's in all classes and pass and get a high school diploma. Somebody can sit in school and copy shyt also, which 10 people i know did all the time. And what are they learning ? NOTHING/ You study for test, and when you study. You learn. Double check your priorities biotch

  • @MandBsniPerZzZ You are a complete idiot. A GED is inferior compared to a Diploma. You will not be accepted to every College or University with a shitty GED. GED is for drop out losers who cannot hack it in a real world, and you cannot do your with others around you. A GED is for idiots who cannot finish in a real teaching environment. That inludes talking to peers, and doing team work.

  • @MandBsniPerZzZ You are an idiot with a GED beause you are an idiot who couldn't hack it in a normal teaching environment beause you are a retard.

  • @hazing420 The NORMAL teaching environment? Wow you are truly retarded.

  • @UnidenExposed

And what about people who CAN'T attend highschool? I had to take care of my mother. So go fuck yourself.

  • i hear u man i got sick of school it feels like a big waste of time.

  • @jab5 Actually thats not true for everywhere. Colleges here not community colleges, take GED's. Anyways Cool.

  • Has anyone noticed the grammar "jaylove47" uses in this video? hahah

I graduated high school 5 hours ago, legit diploma. LEGIT.

I'll bet everyone who's ever gotten one feels superior to these GED "grads".

This feeling didn't just come out of nowhere, clearly, so it must hold some ground. Dropouts get GED's. End of story. That's what an employer, or even

a college would think. If you really were as "smart", this would be old news and

you'd have had the motivation to finish.

  • hes right ged and a high school diplomat is just a paper its ur brain that matters and what u learn i seen dumbasses get their high school and not 3 basic things in math its funny all u have to do is show up indeed and they will give u atleast a C grade but a ged is somthing u work hard and u earn it its the samething but what matters is ur inteligence and what r u capable of learning remember its the concept of learning thats the key well ged and highschool diplomat same shit !!!

  • @juniorfromcali92 "i seen "

    That speaks volumes.

    "highschool diplomat "

    I won't even touch that.

  • THANK YOU! :)

  • As a business owner, I always hire people who graduated high school before a ged. It shows me they were more dedicatet to their work. PERIOD, you lose. I dont care if its "the same" or not.
