haha nice video but i have ps2 new model 9000 -4 and i just block first sensor and dont need 2 and 3 one and put swap magic 3.8 and its worked perfect without magic key 2 and 3 one so who has swap magic 3.8 dont use magic key 2 and 3 because they dont necessary 2 magic key just will just risk your dvds because when you put dvd it will be just up of magic so it will touch you 2 magic key and it will risk your dvd

k, what you need to do this, what you need is a small piece of paper and a video rca plugin, you take it and you place it in this hole and you place the paper in this other hole to block both sensors. I think I have this model.

I have a Ps2 Slim which is pretty new, and i've plugged in a plug at the back like you did, but there is no 'hole' to put the paper in, its more like a tiny thing that gets pushed down, and my discs wont turn/start playing :( do you have a different Ps2 than me? mine is a PAL only 2 years old..

it makes the game spin when the top is up, so if you want to play a japanese game you put in a "swap magic" game with the sensors blocked, cover up. wait till the game stops, take it out, put in your japanese game, click load, and it plays. i think...

I do not know if it works with games of other regions.

This doesn't always work on the SCPH-7900X series. Ones sold around December '07 time still have a 3rd sensor under the left hinge. At least they do in Europe. Mine does.
