That would be a broken limit strap... that is why the rear end kicks so high into the air.

looks like some suspension component, I don't think it's a limit strap, just because it's not a strap, it's a solid piece of tubing, might be part of a 4 link setup, or some stabalizer.

i have a zj.wich is more of a family type truck,wich is great off road..BUT a xj has plenty more after marked parts.. the trucks in this video im sure are ALL CUSTOM so unless your rich,or have sponcers you wont be able to bulid somthing like this video.

thats not true. 2wd was an option, not popular but there. Either way 4wd trucks have a thicker frame so chances are they took a old 4x4 Cherokee truck and made it a 2wd prerunner.

its in lucern, and it wasnt the shock that broke it was part of the exhaust hanging down. if you look its hanging down before he lands the first time, a shock wouldnt break on the launch, only a hard landing.

why dont you? if the shock truely broke off it would be slammed on the back right side. and would not continue driving/bouncing the way it is besides it would have broke on landing, its broken before he goes off. the jeep made it another like 20 miles or something, i was at that race

I was co-driving..that was the exhaust hanging down. Shortly after, we DNF'd due to sheared motor mount bolts. We also broke an upper control arm mount on the axle.

It's just the exhaust pipe. It's hanging lower than usual. The hanger likely broke.
