Every major city has its good and its bad. New York, Philadelphia, Chicago...you name it. It's not indicative of the university itself. This is being filmed at YBOR city which is a urban row of clubs and bars that young teenagers typically go to. The university itself is far from YBOR and in a safe area.

The University of Pennsylvania is in West Philadelphia. Columbia University is in Harlem yet both those schools are some of the best in the country. Please don't just USF off this.

I'm a junior at USF...and I can say that the experience here is what you make it. Tampa is HUGE...there's plenty of places that are safe and clean. This does NOT represent everyone who goes here.

The buildings ARE a little run down, but there's been alot of construction and they are slowly making their way around the campus :)
