  • What would happen if the butter were to melt in the crock and mix in with the water? Actually, what would happen if the butter were to melt completely in hot weather? Or would it even melt?

  • @Ghaith150 It's actually blue and white. That little blue line needs to be hand painted.

  • VAT19. com *click*

  • ; How many pieces of toast were harmed in the making of this video ? Lol how how many survived ?

  • How a Gummi Butter Bell Crock? That way instead of butter u can add chocolate or sumthing then you can enjoy our treat with the chcolate. and instead of water use like fruit punch or sumthing. Yum!

  • @HauntingVlogs Chocolate and fruit punch sounds kinda disgusting...

  • Did you say crock or crotch

  • How DARE you DISCONTINUE the TEAPOSY! You sir have just LOST a customer!

I will buy your stuff after I get over this OUTRAGE! Hehe, but I do love your products!

  • FUCK butter its bad for you

  • 1:00 His voice cracked

  • lol thats why i have presperdable creamy butter lollollololo

  • when you take the lid off, isn't your butter all wet? who wants to use wet butter??

  • @lizzybelle11 Butter is naturally hydrophobic. It will not absorb the water.

  • @vat19com I don't use butter... will Jelly work? O_o

  • @lizzybelle11 OIL BRO

  • @lizzybelle11 Also, because of the air pressure put inside of the container of butter, none of the water will be able to go inside. For example:

Put a paper towel into a dry cup. Turn it upside down and push into a tub of water and take it out, is it wet? no.

  • I have one and it actually works. WORTH YOUR MONEY.

  • jey i have noe of those!

  • wont the butter get wet and gross

  • @hellojellojlb3 If you put butter on your hands then rinse it with water, the butter won't rinse off. You'll have to use a dispersant like soap to get it off. Butter repels water, like a water resistant coating on a raincoat. :)

  • @hellojellojlb3 No, it's a saturated fat and most saturated fats are solids and stay that way unless you physically change it. For example, if you decided to microwave it.

  • I NEED THIS

  • Ok we have one of these and it really does matter what part of the country you live in as to its effectiveness. Or if you keep a fire in your house...you have to keep your house at 70 or 72 degrees I can't remember. We accidently let the fire get too hot and our keepers butter got sour...and in the summer it does the same thing. we even started changing the water more often but it didn't help. we moved the butter father away from the fireplace. Too bad our fireplace is so close to the kitchen.

  • imma buy one for my kitchen

  • My mom had one of these in our kitchen, they actually do work really well. :)

  • dear vat 19 why does the white cost more money

  • I thought they said the butter bell cock lol

  • can you also pack fudge?

  • @gamehead91 You could, but it would get soggy... fudge isn't hydrophobic, butter is

  • wouldnt the butter be all watery\?

  • @epicrandomnessXD Butter has oil, and oil and butter "repel," - so no

  • Option two: Spreadable butter :D

  • Well, even know i sounds delicious dipping my butter into water, i'm gonna have to say no on this one.

  • @webcam224 Butter is oil, and oil repels water. The two touch, but the butter doesn't get watery.

  • my aunt bought this and the butter always dissolves in the water...

  • @SuperGamerComedy Is she using real butter... the lower the oil content the less likely it will work. i have one and it works perfectly.

  • Was any toast hurt in the making of this video?? Tumbs up :D

  • @toddi098 Thumbs*

  • @toddi098 No.

  • Burnt toast. XP

  • dose it work with cheese

  • @legoplanet1 Probably not.

  • @legoplanet1 The oil is the key. If you have a cheese that is very soft and has the same oil content as butter it should.

  • Can you put in small pieces of ice so you dont have to change it as often?

  • @cutegagagrl90 I don't think so, because one of the purposes of the water is to create that air tight vacuum which preserves the freshness.

  • idk why, but i love 1:32 :P

  • My dads gf has this thing and i was amazed at it "DAD WHAT IS THIS CONTRAPTION?"

  • that's a really slow tap

  • i really like your guys videos!

  • I think this waists a too much water.

  • @patuni umm lol?

  • @patuni It uses 2.475 gallons of water a year

  • my mom has a red one and loves it!

  • Does it work with compound butter?

  • cant u just buy the spreads of butter?

  • My aunt got this and it doesn't work. ;/

  • wont the butter get soggy from the water

  • @funfun223lol Butter is oily, oil and water don't mix. And they packed it hard in the video.

  • OMG! Where's the VAT NEIN TEEEN.... DOT. COM! Jigle?!

Please tell me the jingle will be back :(

  • @razerburst this is from 2008

  • @Graysonfball77 ohhh alright :P

  • You guys are fantastic at marketing :D You guys make me want to buy stuff that I'll probably never use haha

  • @DNaidoo95 That's the plan! Thanks!

  • Can you melt the butter to a liquid, put it in the butter holding part, let it cool, then put the re-solidified butter into the butter bell thing?

  • @swordsmanruler Possibly, but butter tends to separate a bit when it melts.

  • @swordsmanruler To avoid separation, heat half the butter and use it to melt the other half. A tip I saw on the interwebs a while ago.

  • This is the most USELESS , yet the most USEFUL invention EVER!!!!!!!!1

  • Did Jamie really say, "butter bugaboos?"

  • @vat19.com heh heh u burnt ur toast.

  • @andywinsagain. Its not watery. Butter is hydrophobic, so the water and butter dont mix.

  • omg we have this but i dont think we put water in it we just use it to hold butter lolz

  • yum...watery butter.

  • @ATeddyBearWithRoses Butter is made of lipids, and lipids have a bilayer membrane. The outside is water loving, but the inside of the membrane is water fearing. Hence, the water cannot go through the membrane.

  • We have that And it is amazing!

  • I know this is like, a really stupid Question, But can the butter like, slide out of the cup and into the water? ^ ^;;

  • @funkeytime Only if not packed tightly enough.

  • @vat19com do you guys have one person in the business that writes back to your fans?

Is there another guy who answers stupid questions?

  • @vat19com but if u use the butter and it's half way out couldnt it fall like would u have 2 replace it every time u use it?

  • @vat19com When You tak the butter bell out of the bowl, is it possible for the butter to get super liquidy and mix in with the water?

  • @ATeddyBearWithRoses Butter does not absorb water.

  • @vat19com Which is also why our cell membrane stays stable even surrounded by 3/4 of water in our body. This is because our cell membrane is made of lipids, which includes fats. THANK YOU SCIENCE.

  • @KingLoop13 my little sister learned about that stuff today (she a 6Th grader)

  • @ateddybearwithroses You know how oil floats on water? Well, butter is mostly fat, which is an oil, so they won't mix together.

  • 0:10 "COULD HAVE HAD A BUTTER BELL CROCK" =SMASHES FACE WITH HAND=

  • I was watching this thinking 'yeah, that isn't going to do anything' but in theory that would work, not saying the video is lying, just that i always like to see things for myself

  • I dont think the butter would fall in the water. If you kept track of changing the water, you would notice if it happened

  • what if the butter falls into the water?

  • @Nachoperson365 You have no taste because spreadable butter is 53% vegtable shortening.

  • i'd rather buy spreadable butter from the stores cause there is no taste difference for me

  • it is made out of glass right?or is it made out of something else?

  • @lovelyrainbow125 Stoneware.

  • @vat19com wouldnt it be just easier to just buy margarine

  • @vat19com wouldnt it start to have bacteri eating it?

  • @Splashathon that's probably why they said replace the water every three days

  • What will happen if you get an air buble stuck in there?

  • @Splashathon Not much.

  • Comment removed

  • y dont people just by margerine? it dosent get hard, and u can have it for weeks AND its low fat

  • @karo1234123 Because real butter and margarine taste completely different.

  • @karo1234123 because margarine is one molecule away from being plastic?

  • i don't get how is it that hard to spread butter on toast without it being soft because the heat from the toast will soften the butter anyway

  • @MasterB162 Toast cools off pretty quickly, and butter straight out of the fridge can be rock-like sometimes.

  • @vat19com when Jamie opened that rectangular butter thingy, why did he put his ear near it??

  • i thought it said buttermelt crock

  • do you ship to mars ?

  • wont the butter get wet or soggie

  • @warmaster5128 It will get a little wet, but not soggy.

  • @vat19com I know if I just comment you guys won't really reply but here's a question I have to ask if you guys answer, my mom will let me buy something from you guys, FINALLY! And maybe I can have more chances so here goes : Won't the water get oily from the butter? PLZ ANSWER!

  • @Animal00Kaiser Water and oil will not mix. Besides, you can always just pour it out.

  • Lol dude, I never refrigerate my butter. Smells/tastes fine, and no torn toast. :)

  • y'all really need a catalogue.. please make one? :'(

  • Do you ship to Romania? :S

  • I have one of these and although they look stupid they really work

  • i still dont understand how it would make the butter sufter

  • @korinstower202 The butter will be softer because it's been kept in room temperature and not in a fridge. The water is there to keep nasty bacteria from the air from making their nest in the butter. To sum: warm butter, easy spread.

  • do you have a mail order catalogue?

  • @merrituber1 Sorry, but we do not.

  • Lid full of butta

  • Does it work with Nutella?

  • @Craz4Sugar Try putting Nutella in water. Tastes bad, right?

  • @AnimalCrossingCool4 *runs to the restroom and starts throwing up*

  • do you ship to canada

  • @thepunisher30100 yes they do ! eh

  • @thepunisher30100 We sure do!

  • @vat19com do you ship to china

  • @vat19com Where don't you ship?

  • or you can just use spreadable butter not being mean or anything i love ur vids but im just sayin

  • Can't you do this the ghetto way, with like.. I don't know, a plastic cup and a bowl? I don't mind buying it, I'm just curious.

  • Your things aren't curiously awesome..... YOU'RE CURIOUSLY AWESOME =D

  • wouldnt it tast grose to have water in your butter

  • Do you ship to Illinois

  • @MrJumpingdude Every day!

  • wont it fall out of the scooper when you pick it up?

  • @thienbang66 Nope!

  • @vat19com do you ship to Lesotho

  • Comment removed

  • Why don't you attempt to blur out or hide the brand of products in the background, such as the V8 in the background? Like most companies?

  • @stickmanmob Because other companies charge big bucks for brand recognition. That's not really our game, so we don't bother.

  • @vat19com I like it

  • I hav 2 nd the butter isn't wetr slimy but if you keep it near a toaster or stove duh it might melt. Try keeping it 1-2 feet away

  • it is called spreadable butter

  • 0:20 That's a cool knife rack you have there.

  • ew, i dont want wet butter

  • I cannot stop watching yalls videos. There so odd but so smart!

  • Did he just say, "Butter Related Buggaboos?"

  • this sucks.. what if its hot.. and the heat melts the butter inside even though i keep putting cold water.. ;c

  • i want toast now

  • ceramic or glass shatters into razor sharp shards. they sell more junk when it breaks, more medical and insurance bills too, increasing death and the price of all services. put the butter in a plastic container in the refrigerator, or in a small one inside a big one. they also stole the butter from your "reduced fat" milk and cheese, to force us to pay for it twice. industry and government owe us trillions of dollars for their crimes. i can make them pay. - james mcashan for the US Senate

  • WOW! he never said flava that time

  • why does it need to be cold

  • @brendonroberts3

Probably because warm water will melt the butter

  • my mum uses this

  • Won't the butter be all wet?

  • This is great, but the question is, will it blend?

  • OR; BUY A TUB!

  • what if the butter falls out

  • but does it blend

  • It still looked pretty hard to spread to me

  • whats wrong with buying the soft kind of butter that is always soft and not hard and wierd

  • @Rhomeozon Because, if i remember correctly there is no such thing.

  • @kista000 get i cant believe its not butter, butter :P

  • @Rhomeozon But its not butter. thats the point

  • @kista000 its both butter and not butter :P
