i think is a great program, and yes suvivor man is beter but i like this one too, and may be the camera man is equiped with things like a GPS, satelite phone, first aids kit, and a crew of guys are prepared for an emergency call some kilometers away with an helicopter may be.

man vs wild is a joke. He has a crew follow him that could help him at any time. Survivor man is better. He is all alone and knows true survival techniques.

The show isnt him being able to survive in the wild alone, its him giving tips on how YOU could survive. His show is not him showing off that he can live in the wild without anything.

I totally agree with that. It is not 100% real thing. He is subject to much less risk or danger than what he may appear to exposed. It is just a TV show to demonstrate some of the tips to survive out there, even though I doubt most people can actually save themselves with just watching this.
