OMG - Official New Moon Poster Analyzed

This hurts me to say because I'm a Harry Potter fan.... But.... Warner Brothers is driving me nuts! The Harry Potter movie comes out in 4 months and all we have is a trailer and movie poster! Summit Entertainment treats their fans WAYYY better! They give them sneak peeks monthly! We get one every couple of months! It's soooo not fair! You guys had this poster way before we had one.

here's why the official one works:

edward LEAVES bella in new moon. JACOB is the one who comforts her thru her rough times. the whole new moon book is basically about bella and jacobs budding relationship. edward is in her memories most of the time in the book, til the end when he comes back into her life. however, jacob loves bella, and he's not gonna give her beack to edward without a fight.

the one with bella alone is good, seeing as how she was depressed the entire book, i guess. = /

the official one was really cool! i really love the 2nd book although it's all melodramatic.. it's really nice coz i appreciated jacob in this one and in breaking dawn too..[im sure most of the fans did..] my favorite's eclipse! full of action and funny stuffs and ofcourse, edward&bella's love! yay!

this is a cool poster. But What I really don't get, don't get super mad at me and all bullcrap and stuff, but the book is mostly just Jacob and Bella, and she only hears edward, but now they are going to make him acctually show up. I read the books and Edward goes to the volturi because he thinks Bella is dead because she jumped off a cliff to see his face. But when he relizes that, He goes to the volturi, (he wants to die too!) Before he can step in the sun to reveal his true form so the volturi can kill him, Bella comes to the rescue!!! Jane is the tracker. As you know bella is ammune to all vampire abilities, Edward yells in despair for her to be safe. I wont tell anymore so this is the end of my comment so buh bye!!!!!

Of course the official... you can see Bella looking for something she can't seem to find(Edward) as if looking at her past or the illusions she's seeing.. Holding on to Jacob who clearly is protecting her from Edward ,who he knows is bad for her in every way possible... Edward on the other hand is kinda watching out for Bella but feeling utterly helpless for he knows that she can only be safe with him away, for him, she's something within reach yet something very far away...

the one with edward and bella with the clock tower is really fake, because I was in Volterra and in Monte Pulciano ( where New Moon was filming) and there are not clock tower - it is more like clock in the middle of the building.

the official poster of course is the best one, but the others somewhat make sense and would be good; the one of bella walking into the mist could represent the time in the book when she is just in a daze after edward leaves her, the shirtless edward represents the time he is in italy about to expose the vampire world to get himself killed, and the other with the moon just shows how she is in a love triangle, but all in all the official is the best one.

If the official poster has Bella seemingly choosing to be with or protected by Jake while Edward stands nearby, gazing darkly, then it's safe to assume there is a dominance struggle between the two. Therefore, I think the last poster should be the official poster... the one with Bella between Edward and Jake with a full moon in the backdrop.

-Jacob's protecting Bella

-the tense relationship between these three is clearly presented

-and well...-it's simply HOT

The original would be perfect if bella wasnt holding onto jacobs arm. Bella still loves edward and its not until Eclipse she says she loves Jacob but not more than Edward so she wouldnt be pulling Jacob closer she'd be pushing him away
