It is common knowledge that some international organization is planning to take control over all governments by increasing surveillance and security presence, and thereby monitoring and trying to control the activities of the citizens.(contd below)
But the question for individuals who engage in such activities is to consider whether it is right? Does it not violate the principles of democracy? Does democracy not dictate that every group of individuals in a nation are allowed to have self-determination? To be able to live according to their values. (contd below)
Who gave anyone the right for international oversight? Is this not the old monarchial way of thinking, that a small group of rich people should have control over all governments? Is this not colonialism revisited? I say that being both monarchial, and undemocratic, it is entirely un-American. Anyone, who engages in such activities should be severely prosecuted.(contd below)
I would like the Republican candidates to respond with their views on the use of such excessive surveillance, and what they would do, when put in a situation like David Cameron.
*He has never compromised on any of his principles. He is ideologically consistent with 20 years of tenure in the House of Representatives. @evandonghue2 sorry oil prices have little/nothing to do with inflation or supply and demand. Its changed daily by speculators. I've seen little inflation in my lietime. I bought my first new tv 18 years ago, a 24" Zenith for $300. I just had to get a new tv the other day, $300 for a 32" Panasonic.

Also this doesn't change the fact that if you bought ur TV with gold u saved 18 years ago, you could by 6 TVs_ Ron Paul is right, he has been right for decades_
@evandonghue2 Almost good points but you dont connect the dots. None of its as simple as you make it out to be. The price of gold is currently driven by uncertainty(not just Americas but the whole worlds), its a hegde. As soon as confidence in the market is restored then itll drop down overnight. Not all commodities prices are higher. There is a spike in energy and some precious metals prices. Energy cost are higher because of many reasons the weakness in the dollar isnt a major part of it.
@macroevolve I thought that was his best moment in these debates. He just slaughtered those tools. Too bad that an average american is way less intelligent than Ron Paul.
"White households have 20 times the median income as Black households, what would you do to address that problem? "
ME : Tell them to get an education or skill to get a better job....not take money from White people to give to them. geez, typical Liberal question and stance
ron paul is a maniac and the only reason people support him is because he's a nutjob. Yeah, Uncle Ron is senile, insane and lovable... but can he run a country? NO.
It is absolutely hysterical to see so much effort to ignore or attempts to cut off and try to silence Ron Paul. Everyone else don't have a clue about our monetary system and the damage it has done to our economy. It's sad for them to ask everyone about healthcare and completely over look the only Doctor on stage. Everyone PLEASE VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!!!!
@roydizle i meant he wasn't as critical of Reagan as he should have. he tuned down his critics a lot try not to anger the nowadays Republicans who worship Reagan as god.
@Zephyr1193 - it also incentivizes to hire around legal limits: effectively hiring those who are not documented. however, the undocumented (or even legal immigration) poses another problem with entry-level or lower wage work: those coming from south of the US have an education (about 30% are educated to grade 4) that encourages "professionalizing" labor. hence, low-educated immigration in 2011 means employees determined to forever maintain "entry-level" status, resulting in high unemployment ...
Anyone else notice that they completely skipped Ron Paul? I was paying attention. They started with Perry and came all the way back to him without asking Ron Paul anything. FUCK YOU MAINSTREAM MEDIA PRESSTITUTES!
man they tried their tale off to keep Ron Paul quiet, lol what a joke... Ron Paul is the man all the others are garbage... ask Perry and Romney about their Bilderberg meeting
It is time to understand that it's more important to influence Congressional members to follow the US Constitution. It's time to insist that Congress STOP being irrelevant! These are the folks with the purse strings. The power is and was given to the Congress! Stand up folks. Call your representative and insist he/she follow this Constitution...and right now start an impeachment process against the sitting US President whose father was not a US Citizen.
@nontheistdavid Who cares about evolution? I don't think anyone on that stage is running for the office of scientist. Do you think the sky would fall or something if we had a skeptical president?
It's easy for a person to say, "I believe in evolution." It's a helluva lot harder for a person to say "I question the commonly accepted explanations about the nature of our origin."
Too bad Santorum won't get the nomination this time around. He's not a political animal (romney, perry, huntsman) or a utopian nut-job (paul). He articulates his points so well because he speaks from his core beliefs. He doesn't choose every word and line based on what the political impact might be.
@toowaker37 Why? Food stamps cost alot of money for the federal government and it's never seen to many as a way out. Most see it as a way of life. It should be a transitional system where the government can give them help to get off it and time to when they will be off it.
RON PAUL!!!!!!! the media completely ignored him during and after the debate. they only want to talk about globalist establishment candidates which is everyone else. seriously msnbc did not mention his name ONCE after the debate and claimed perry the winner FUCK THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA
Still waiting for a GOP candidate to say they disapprove of homosexuality morally, but in a free country, so long as you don't infringe on others' rights, you can do what you want. People don't like that. Being a "moral society" means the government imposes moral values on people whether they like it or not. You're free, so long as you do what I do and sleep with women...that's not freedom.
Facts: Ronald Reagan raised taxes 11 times, passed the largest tax increase in US history (at the time) and raised the debt ceiling 17 times. So much for the 'patron saint of fiscal conservatism'...
This is why I am independent now. I finally realized this a few years back. Republicans are for the rich and the coorporations. I will be though voting for Ron Paul if he makes it. If he doesn't I am moving.
@dragnet53 I am liberal independent.....i don't support Ron Paul, but he's a lot better than candidates standing there. He's honest and stands by what he says, this is why he has my respect.
@astromike1000 You obviously have no clue about 'polls'. I am an activist and post 98% of the polls and Ron Paul in 95% of them destroys everyone...not even close. So the question is if you're so smart why don't you know this already?

ron paul is a maniac and the only reason people support him is because he's a nutjob.

@capriconss about Reagan's deficits?? if that is what you are talking about, then he was honest and there are numbers to back it up.
roydizle 5 months ago

It is time to understand that it's more important to influence Congressional members to follow the US Constitution. It's time to insist that Congress STOP being irrelevant! These are the folks with the purse strings. The power is and was given to the Congress! Stand up folks. Call your representative and insist he/she follow this Constitution...and right now start an impeachment process against the sitting US President whose father was not a US Citizen.

nontheistdavid 5 months ago

Only a republican could say "cutting food stamps saves lives".
toowaker37 5 months ago 2
@toowaker37 First of all, they didn't say that. Second, only a liberal wouldn't understand how food stamps can be a bad thing.
Bergertim 5 months ago
@toowaker37 Why? Food stamps cost alot of money for the federal government and it's never seen to many as a way out. Most see it as a way of life. It should be a transitional system where the government can give them help to get off it and time to when they will be off it.
