I am going to buy a ragdoll cat but I am worried as he will be the only one there. I only work about six hours a day and sometimes 4 hours a day on the weekdays and im free on the weekends. Is this enough to where my ragdoll will not feel lonely?

Max is beautiful. He looks identical to my own Ragdoll who is a colorpoint, and he is also a seal point.

what's the difference between a raggdoll and a birman cuase my neighbor has a raggdoll and a friend of mine a birman but they look the same they have both the same colors as your cat max but they have white feet

I believe Birmans must always have mitted paws (white 'mittens' and 'boots') whereas Ragdolls can have a range of markings including solid points (brown/seal-coloured feet), for example. Ragdolls are also much larger.

Thanks for that - yes he is adorable and I would never hurt him. It should be fairly obvious that I love my cat and the fact that he isnt even meowing shows that he's quite happy with me playing with him this way.

That's why they call them ragdolls. You can do practically anything to them. They are very flexible and are like big babies. I know someone that does that with his two cats Sigfried and Roy. I can't believe he called him that. I would call SPCA just because of the names. LOL.

Aren't ragdolls the best?  We have a blue bi-color ragdoll (named Max also). They are the sweetest most docile cats -not to mention beautiful. We got him because my daughter suffers from a genetic disorder that makes her skin very fragile and he seemed like the best pet for her.

Yes Ragdolls are the most amazing cats. Mine has cost me a fortune - fell off my balcony ( 4 floors ) and needed several leg operations....$7000 later - he's fine :) Worth every cent!

Max is terriffic, we have one just like him (His name is Snitzel), except he has a blaze on his head. Max is a bit more rag-dollish, and pliable than ours. I'm afraid he would take my head, he weighs about 20 pounds and is five years old, if I tried to turn him upside down though, he isn't always user friendly, but we love him just the same.
