They really rocked this song at their Caravan stop in Chicago. Love it. Hope to hear it on a live album very soon. Along with the "New Song" Dave performed solo with the ukulele as well. Thanks for the post.
Just got back from The Gorge 2 hours ago and the band rocked this song SOOOOO HARD last night. Have heard all these versions online but oh man have they finally got it down! Can't wait to hear it again in a couple years either live or on the new album...CARTER IS THE MAN!!!
Listen to this vid, then the two from West Palm Beach starting with the friday show of course. Can here the Song getting better structered in just 3 shows. Thats awesome. I'm glad there is a band that still rehereses on the Road. Love that.
so good. i'm to the point where i've listened to these guys so much, i sit around waiting to be disappointed, and i usually end up being blown away instead.
This song jams. The comparisons below to Seven and HFTGL could not be farther off base. This is classic DMB w/the syncopated rhythms. I love the dark sinister sound. Reminds me of Help Myself more than anything else.
I'm not a big fan of this song, but I agree, its closer to Help Myself than any other DMB song. I'm also not a big Help Myself fan though, which is probably why I'm not wild about this. The chorus is catchy though, might be fun to see live, but I'm not blown away by any means.
I would like to hear it in person before passing judgement. However, it seems to be another song in the line of Hunger for the Great Light, where they are trying too hard to make a hard rock song. But, it might turn into something good.

Saw them play it at Concord and Shoreline. Black Jack rocks. I guess we'll have to wait until 2012 to see if it gets released... :(

Husker:::: DMB plays hard rock? lol Most jam bands don't play hard rock. But the boys do have the ability to play some awesome cover tunes.
They should stick with the evolution of Squirm. That's one damn good rock tune.
