totally looking at things the wrong way, its not the actual objects that you collect that matter, its the joy you get from them. i own a car that i only drive for fun, and it is so much fun that it was worth every penny. all the stuff i own is for my personal enjoyment, all my collection of DVDs, some day i may pass it on to my kids so they can enjoy it, or sell it for something they find fun, or it will get thrown out because it is no fun to anyone. the point of you life is to enjoy it have fun

this computer that im typing on was assembled by wage slaves. the materials used to make it were obtained by an industrial process that uses tons of fossil fuels which kill the earth. the land where those raw materials came from was stolen from people that were most likely murdered in the acquisition. the power that runs this computer is from a dam that has caused salmon to be nearly extinct. thats a lot of hurt. but as long as i have good intentions its ok. right?
