@LIRR175 nope! All gates/crossing lights for the most part can be operated manually on the Beacon line for now...I don't believe any of the crossing equipment has been removed unless by inclement weather.

@gregorygrice that was the original plan but as the extra move approached CP155 the crew was instructed to go down to GCT.

how are the status of the tracks where you were at. To me, the tracks don't look bad at all. This sets a new record to how active this line is in over a long time. I looked at the greenwhich connecticut news and it was saying how the the tracks at bethel are 120 feet suspended in the air.

@malikrthr1 The line definitely needs a ton of maintenance as the ties and right of way have seen better days. With the rare use of the line, Metro-North isn't going to maintain it just to see it not used unfortunately.
