@xxAmericanistaxx - Try checking out the Laser Ball Instructable. Be sure to look in the comments too. The GNDs are all tied together; the battery GND, teensy GND, laser GND, and IR GND. The error codes are probably because you need to also install Ken Shirrifs IR library.

@LeoneLabs i recently checked the IR library and its installed in the Arduino 1.0 i tied them all together and all the lasers work just fine, unfortunately the IR remote or the IR sensor dosent seem to respont and the lasers dont do anything besides sit there all lit up. What am i missing?

@Cutlesnap - I'll admit the tennis ball wasn't my first choice. But I realized in order to standardize the design, put it in a context people could relate to, it had to be in a familiar form. Enter Mr. Tennis Ball... sure he's smaller but everyone knows him... and that's a pretty good characteristic to have. :)

@xanokothe - Nope, I used the Teensy by PJRC. It's "Arduino-like" but smaller than the Arduino Mini Pro (and has a lot of other useful features like built-in USB). The Arduino Mini Pro would not fit inside a tennis ball.
