Thanks for the clips! This is THE news network to watch right now. They seem very inspired and fresh. Eventually they may become stagnant and lame like CNN, eat it up while it lasts.
Its not supposed to be Arab perspective network. Its just an Arab network. But just like BBC or CNN or anyother news channel their focus is impartial delivery of the news.
Hey where is the "Death to America!" If this is Al Jazeera they suck. They're no different from other news networks then. Why are there non-arabs on this network? This is supposed to be Arab perspective network.
There are Arabs on the network and non Arabs. Are all anchors on CNN International Americans? No. They are different from other networks like CNN & BBC in the respect that they will focus on news ignored by western media and a heavy focus on the middle east region from an Arab perspective not the usual anti-muslim, pro-israel western view. And stop being stereotypical.
They are different from BBC and CNN in that BBC and CNN watch Al-Jazeera in order to get the news and deliver it second hand. While BBC/CNN/Fox... reporters get "embedded" with the American army far from the battlefields, Al-Jazeera is actually in the war and gets the real stories. It is the concept of "fearless journalism" that they strive for and for which many of their journalists have died or been imprisoned and tortured.
So to all the nay sayers I must ask where in this is the anti-American "evil" Muslim propaganda/bias in this article detailing a valiant peace effort by African Union troops? Seems to me that the region is troubled and are fianlly admitting that and requesting aid... I don't recall hearing "death to America" anywhere in this... so yeah, explain to me how this network is dangerous?
Probably the best news channel over the world

It's sad that racism is the real reason Al-Jazeera English is not available in the U.S.

I think it is very good that Aljazeera is covering stories like the one in Sudan which other media outlets choose to report less on.

Also this is massivly different from CNN or BBC. Al-Jazeera is the only news channel ballsy enough to have an entire unit within Darfur.

Thanks for posting the al-Jazeera stuff. Since Patriot Act I'm afraid to put that web address in my browser. Who knows what list you'll end up on?
