  • @ChieriReicheruz

Leaning back and forth is a wonderful thing in playing, it shows that you connect to music.I do it when I play, my director tried to hard to get her last year honors class to move back and forth, no shame.

  • your like leaning back and forth and yah....it was kind of hilarious but still the mistakes are ok at least you played well^^

  • omg. that is aaron omgomg... its sarika!!! remember me from orchestra with mrs edwards last year??! this is trulyyyy amazinng

  • Aww nice job, its geat that you love playing everyone should! :)

  • i just turned 14 and i just finished learning this peice for a little easy peice to play while i am working in the peice in suzuki book 9. I did notice some mistakes, but everyone makes mistakes...Very well done!

  • I notice a lot of people find his little dance hilarious.

I wonder what they'd think if they saw Midori play...

  • @centigonal

EXACTLY. he's into the music! jeez people are so rude and he isnt a pro so ofcourse there are mistakes.

  • 0:01 to 0:10 sound like la folia,0:10 to 0:18 sound exactly like Handel

  • @duongngocvuminh I don't understand, I have played La Folia and the Handel sonata, but it does not sound like that.

  • nice hair wip at the end..... haha

  • Joe, practice makes perfect. You'll be perfect. Forget about the stupid comments!

  • Okay, so I'm a 20 year old composition student, just starting to learn this on viola....this kinda makes me sad. But good for you!

  • lol. the little dance he's doing is cracking me up... :P nothin' personal...

  • Very good, but work on a consistent tempo and rythm. But all in all an great performance!

  • you sound good! i don't understand why people are commenting about your movement...have they seen joshua bell, for instance? he's all over the place when he plays.

  • great job!!! i loved your commitment to the piece and your bowing was very artistic. bravo...a five star performance!!!!!

  • work on ur left hand it should not be touching the neck but good job

  • for me it is played very wooden...to fast, without feeling, there are several technic mistekes...

  • @ladyMandrak

Dude he's twelve, way to be a total douchebag.

  • @fazetti i played this when i was 12 too but i didn't sound like this

  • I´m playing this song (i´m 14) and it sounds good. But I think that you made some mistakes, (minutes 1:27, 2:15). Anyway, i like it.

  • I play the violin and you sound pretty good. One thing to work on though, try to get your vibrato going a little faster.

  • bravo...this is very impressive for someone at your age. I really like the enthusiasm and spirit you put into your playing. Keep up the good work.

  • i dont like hes way to lean back and forvards

  • he could play a bit more directly, but all in all he does very well! very emotional and sweet (heartwarming).

  • I read some of the comments and thought they were over critical. Enjoy in what you play. Practice makes you perform better. Was this video's purpose for critque or for the music

I hope is was for the music. The movement what ever.

  • measur 10 and 11, accent it!!!!!!!!!!!!!( and any wher else)

and watch the dynamics, the whole thing was kinda the same

  • i played this piece wen i was 9

  • come check my my video of me playing this song

  • A twelve-year-old played this at the school where I work today. I am in awe of both his and your talent. Bravo.

  • A) your bow was all over the finger board

    B) what's with the dance? hoedown much?

    C) your chords are supposed to be fortisimo but they sounded the same MF as the rest of the piece. Plus you didn't even play the b flat on the chords either

    D)

  • I do admit, this was not one of my best performances. Your the first person to actually notice the failure

  • @mynameisawsome0103 youre so rude

  • @mynameisawsome0103 he is only 12!!! you don't have to be perfect with that age! :)

  • @mynameisawsome0103 I'm three years late, I know but he's young. It doesn't say he's a virtuoso. So get off his case. I admit he needs practice but don't judge him so harshly. You probably weren't that good at his age either. Or are you one of those people who can only claim to be good and hide behind a keyboard?

  • yeah that makes sence like when people sing you cant just stand there and move you'r lips and nothing else or else it wont be entertaining so yeah good point

  • I played this peice last year, I did it a little slower.

Well done, 8/10 - too fast for me and maybe putting a little more emotion into it would help.

  • alright joe hey it's sam good job but why do you move so much when you play it's kinda weird ~.- but thats pertty awsome i gotta admit bravo!!!!!

  • It's more musical and brings the audience into the peice more if you move.

Imagine some one playing a really romantic/tragic piece but their standing stock till, it just doesn't look right.

But i do partly agree with you, he does move too much, even for a violinist.

  • go joe (; (winkie face) nice job (: (smile face)

  • hi joe its austin :p weel good job ps i like how you shake while your playing :~)

  • good job! :) sounds amazing. a lot better than my sister

  • lol i agree u r 1337

  • Ya, I am pretty 1337

  • eh it was alright NO im jk ur amazing joe o.o

  • Whoa!!!!!how can can u do that?! How can u move ur fingers while bowing!! That is INCREDIBLY hard for me. I didn't even notice that u messed up. It was amazing!!!
