  • I love my Saab 900 Turbo. It's a very quick little car. The engine isn't doing good though.. It's a '94 with 250K on it. She's my baby!

  • I can't believe how it just keeps pulling. Saabs are great that way.

  • my GTO will still smoke this!!!

  • @tmakidd0703 It would be embarassing if it didn't, muscle car vs family daily driver...

  • @bonecrime lol ;)

  • @tmakidd0703 But then again, my Viper would smoke your GTO. ;)

  • @bonecrime sweet wht do you have under that hood

  • for a min i thought that was mph my jaw dropped to the floor then i realized it was km!! nice pull tho!

  • Niiiiiice acceleration!!! I have driven a car just like this with 170 HP! Did 140 in 3th gear :)

    Grtz!

  • Hey I have a 2000 Saab 9-5. Low boost turbo. I'm putting exp .60 turbo on it. Did you change out your pistons?

  • Generally the B235 engine is good for about 200Kw before needing stronger pistons. If you want to go over that, best bet is to get some T5 pistons from the 9000 (B234)

  • @McDaniel1416 check mine out

  • Good power! I own one of this!

  • @OunosAthens my friend does he races evreybody at school and kills them its funny

  • FUKIN OWNAGE!!!

  • I own a 03 saab 9-5 aero. Love that thing so much....people under estimate them

  • Yeah I agree with Howie262. I was just looking for a Saab today. Found a 1999 9-5, gonna get it too. Nice nice cars.

  • saab are very good cars, many people under estimate them......like I used to....but now I'm going to get a 9-5 ! I want a 2000 model. soo nice. with leather.

  • Yeah dont hesitate to get a saab.

    i have a 2000 saab 95 and with the leather seats ;)

best seats ive ever been in on a car.

Forget about preformance,( it has good preformance) but that shit is bullet proof.

In this economy you need shit thats not gunna cost you that much money and not break down on you. my Saab does that.

What more can you ask for ?

i will always have a saab.

I might have a few other brands but ill always have a saab on the driveway.

  • yeah I know, their are 2 saabs in my driveway right now ! a 900S and a 9000 Griffin. my parents both have one each, and I love driving them, so for my first car, it's going to be the 9-5 2000 model. love it, the 2.3T is the best, 4 cyl turbo that pumps the power out. and they have luxury and a cheap price. its a secret only saab people will only understand.

  • I have a 2000 9-5 too. with 194,000 miles but it runs perfectly :). I'm saving up for upgrades, the only thing I have so far is an open intake and I love it, you can hear the bypass valve really well. go to GenuineSaab for parts, they have some good stuff. I love my car :), only thing about getting a Saab is it's hard to find a manual 9-5 (at least it was in my area, around boston), the're mostly autos.

  • nice. well I wouldnt mind something like that ay, they range from thw 1998 - 2000 between $7,500 - $11,000. I want a 2000 model but as their getting older by the months I might go 2001 or 2002 lol.

  • I've just bought a 1999 9-5 2.3 lp turbo. It's manual. I love it. Any tips on ways I can increase performance without dishing out lots of money? I don't want to replace the turbo, as it's got a pretty new genuine one on it.

  • i recently inherited a 2001 Saab 9-5 aero. The car is very nice but I was wondering if anyone has any experience upgrading the power.

I don't want an obnoxious exhaust but i also heard a good air intake can help (but not that much)

any good suggestions? I would really appreciate it. =]

  • You should not upgrade an AERO, very common with pistons that breaks.

Stock AERO has no problems and slightly tuning the lower HP once will cause no problems either.

  • if you found a great looking 9-5 aero with no problems what so ever ... where talking great shape here going on e bay for under 1500 but has 187,000 miles would you buy it ?

  • i wouldnt even think about it.

  • Why not ? could u help me with some reasons why not to get em? My uncle had a 2003 9-5 so I have driven em, I know I like them, but is it after this point that the car starts to break down ?

  • They are GREAT cars, they just aren't reliable.

  • yeah i have a 2000 saab 95.

    Excelent car.

  • lol it 3rd gear that is the strongest i find. my dad has a 99 95 se but tuned to about 270 hp and 420 nm b abbott racing. 3rd gear 50 - 80 mph in about 3 seconds that lamborghini territory

  • same here bro 3rd gear is the best in this car my dad has a 99 saab 9-5 and thats the best.. so much hp and torque

  • saab 95 are fast i know ^^ but my mom linear is boring in 1-2-3 gear little boost but then i put in 4th gear i feel the boost extreamly well :D but i never drive a Aero :/ (a full boost turbo saab)

  • saab tubos r awesome there so much fun!

  • Niiiiiiice. Is that the td04hl-15t found in the Aero, or is it just something like the t25/t28??? I'm considering a td04 for my MY01 lpt, but I'm a complete noob to turbocharged cars. OH! BTW...a MY04-and-up Aero can pull a 911 turbo from 1st and 2nd all the way to 70 MPH (don't know about 3rd gear though). The 2nd gear on 9-5's is crazy.

  • Impressive pick up. Didn't realise how hard these saab's go.

  • that 2nd gear pull is absolutely rediculous! i love saabs. if only there were a bit more reliable. the new 9-3 looks sick!

  • i swear my old sti wouldn't be able match that. no chance. and that car was a pro-drive conversion too

  • @alexiwillkillyou saab 2001 2.0t 226 hp cheap is going awsome

  • saab the best car!!!

  • Nice work! That upgrade seems to have been worth the time, trouble and cash
