  • O-H-I-O..OHIO all day baby

  • We were beating michigan too bad, it just so happened Rich Rod begged the ref to do something....probably paid the ref lol

  • Complete Bullshit!!! How bout the gay ass eating thing that mich would do to taunt us this year? Never got flagged once!!

  • so it was ok for alabama to show their gloves that had the"A" logo on them two years ago against texas, or for oregons "o". But not ostate. If anything its showing nike wat a great job they did on making the gloves. Why have gloves that are that sweet and not show them off

  • Who cares lets look at the score of that game.. they couldnt come back if all the OSU players had a heart attack at the same exact moment in time ... knock on wood

  • its not a penalty its a symbol to show the school refs saw it as a personal smack in the face to michigan its the dumbest thing ever but its understandable

  • Excuse the typos.....It's just when I see a thread like this.....My Maize and Blue blood run hot !

  • @reservoirdog60 9-2 since 2001... u barely won in '11 against our 2nd stringers. lolololhaha

  • ohio fans are the rudest, most delusional fan base in the land. the 'streak is over now theat the PAT TO PLAY VEST is gone. Now the planets are aligned. When was the last time you beat us with 'legal' players ? What was hte 'STREAK' prior to the VEST era ? 13-2-1 MEEEEEECHIGAN . We straight owned you in the 90's so you foungd it necessary to CHEAT ! Class act you sucknuts.

  • @reservoirdog60 the 2004-2007 span

  • @reservoirdog60 since you appear delusional, i'll correct your errors: 1) the streak prior to tressel was 10-2-1. 2) the last time osu won with legal players was in 2010. the last time osu won in a non-vacated game was in 2009. 3) had osu found it necessary to cheat, the bucks likely would have done so by holding illegal practices. 4) the buckeye players got paid because they won, not in order to win. 5) it's better not to exhibit classlessness yourself when critiquing someone for classlessness.

  • @rfwbuck 2011 is still a win. You can act like it did not happen but it did. W

  • @rfwbuck They did not cheat to win. GET OVER IT. Still goes down as a loss for Michigan!

  • USC gets to do the "V for Victory" sign whenever, Oregon gets to do there O sign whenever but Ohio State can't? Fuck you, refs.

  • uhm... that's the nike pro combat uniform, right? i'm pretty sure all of those modified uniforms have signs that come together when the hands are positioned like that. that shouldn't be a penalty... i mean really...

  • It's called excessive celebration. According to NCAA rules that's a 15 yard penalty. What is so hard to understand? Must be that ohio edumacation.

  • @mbell2123 lol Excessive celebration huh? What is so excessive about showing the fans your gloves? Dumb fuck...

  • @FattMatt0316 He's not showing fans his gloves, he's making an O as in ohio and celebrating. College football is not supposed to be like the NFL where they celebrate like idiots. That's what I love about college football. So why don't you stfu next time and not be so obviously unintelligent? I know ohio fans are one of the most uneducated bunch of rabble around but maybe you should try to hide it more.

  • @mbell2123 You're ignorance is shining bright lol. Excessive celebration is making a sign to the fans? Everybody does it when they score, so why do we get penalized? How about people who jump in the stands or walk over and toss a ball to the crowd? What is the difference? Give me a good answer or just stfu and dont respond to me because my point is made.

  • @FattMatt0316 Whatever moron. I know you are a stupid ohio fan whose intelligence hovers around zero. The only people that jump into the stands or toss a ball to the fans are NFL players. This is not the NFL this is college where celebration is supposed to kept to a minimum.

  • @mbell2123 You're ignorant, I don't have time to waste. Fuck off

  • @mbell2123 One last thing. /watch?v=S4V6gqlpEI4&feature=related Really excessive celebration huh? LMAO

  • @mbell2123 haha dude look up the actual video, and the commentators tell you why this is a penalty. Lineman comes up from behind and does the same exact thing. That's why the refs threw the flag. One is allowed to do it. Watch Oregon, Alabama, Auburn, or anyone else. The person who made the play does it while everyone watches.

  • @McRb29 Okay so you proved my point that there was excessive celebration.

  • Oregon does it, and so does Alabama. Nike made gloves that have the A on them, even the commentators of a game mentioned the lack of penalty for Alabama while Ohio State gets penalized.

  • It's called showing pride! If your offended by this you are clearly a Michigan fan and if you can't handle someone making an "O" with their hands you need to look at yesterday's game when Michigan kept making that spoon motion with their hands! Call that one!

  • Oregon and Bama do this and theirs no flag. IDK why Ohio State would get penalty.

  • I'm not an Ohio state fan, but that should not be a penalty. They have gloves that are supposed to be placed in a certain way to make the "O" and they are doing that, how is that a flag?

  • It shouldn't have been a penalty. Since when is making an "O" with those specially designed gloves considered unsportsmanlike? I've seen players do a lot worse without being flagged for it. The refs were big babies that needed to lighten up.

  • What I did not understand was that during Alabama's title run, they had gloves with "A" on both hands and whenever they did it, it was commentated as a matter of displaying school pride. It was also never penalized. Oregon did they exact same thing with the exact same letter and it was never penalized. Was there some gentlemen's agreement among B1G teams not to do it? Even so, it was definitely not an equal enforcement of the rule.

  • a touchdown in the osu vs. michigan rivarly is a big deal to them! let them celebrate its a once in a life time oppurtunity!

  • pretty sure the officials don't hate Ohio State...See: Bogus P.I. call in endzone during 02' Nat'l Title game vs Miami

  • @tennisguyut You seem to forget the pass interference that should have been called on Miami in the 4th quarter and wasn't. That same play, Gamble caught the ball in bounds but the refs said he was out of bounds. Replay clearly showed he was in bounds. The refs make the right call there and Ohio State wins in regulation cause they could have just run out the clock then. Also don't see how the refs missed that Miami player damn near ripping Gamble's jersey off before he made the catch.

  • @ricknchrissy1 im thinkin terreebad was joking. that call was horseshit though. amd so was the one on lsus punter this weekend

  • @j6stearns He was also flashing his hands at the fans. I don't think you can really taunt your own fans.

  • In my opinion, this is a penalty that should not have been called. Oregon used to do crap like that all the time. It is a gesture the merely supports the team they play for. They love their team so why shouldn't they be allowed to show that love? Whether you love tOSU or hate them....that was NOT a penalty.

  • they werent rubbing in shit those gloves were specially made to have the O on them michigan fans are just pissed because they lost again to ohio state so get over yourselves michigan fans and anyone who hates osu because ur just pissed that your team isnt nearly as good. Also, people they arent fucking gang symbols its the block O and people are pissed cuz they dont have anything cool like that so GO BUCKS O-H-I-O!!!!!!

  • How is that rubbing it in. It is the block O which represents "I am much better than you in every way possible because Im a buckeye" so maybe ur right;) O H

  • This is a penalty cause there obvi flashing gang symbols and threatning the other players life.

  • @Terreebad ARE REALLY THAT STUPID???? AND IT SHOULD'VE BEEN THEIR NOT THERE DUMBASS!!!!!!!!

  • umm what about the u's hand sign shit the program is known for it and this is a penality

  • Really? Bama has been doing that the entire season... Thats BS

  • I want these fucking gloves...

  • Notre Dame does that with thier pro combat thier gloves make the nd symbol and you can clearly makes the ohio state symbol any ways its the BIG 10 ref the worse refs in all a ncaa football

  • they just mad because Ohio is a beasts!!!

  • oregon and alabama do that, i dont see the issue.....

  • oregon does this every game and no penalties?

  • oregon does it i never see it happen to them and they beat teams by 70

  • all he did was represent his school/team? it shouldn't be that big of a deal?

  • all he did was represent his school/team? it shouldnt be that big of a deal?

  • theyre showing spirit for their team...so they get penalized? this is bs but we have two staright BCS bowl wins go bucks!

  • Two words: It isn't. If the NCAA doesn't want players to show spirit for their team, symbolized from the O on the gloves, they need to tell Nike to stop putting these different emblems on the gloves. The dive was also necessary to split the defenders do that's a completely useless argument as well. The real reason its a penalty is because apparently people can't take losing very well these days. Which is disheartening. It's college, grow up.

  • Actually, it was probably the dive that got flagged. We always seem to get flagged when we dive into the endzone like that. It's still bullshit, but drawing from past history, that had to be at least part of it. The little school signs shouldn't be flagged either...sorry for showing some school spirit refs...

  • Oh my gosh this video made my day.

  • If this is unsportsmanlike and offensive... uh, go get a manicure and play mah jong or something.

  • y do u think A**hole!!?

  • It's not a penalty because it's has to be exsesive like that Memphis cheerleader thing but flashing the o is no different then the u at Miami course they'd just beat u anyways but it's not exssesive and the score has nothing to do with penalties

  • It's a penalty because the players were clearly rubbing in their victory, when Michigan was completely uncompetitive in this game. The officials didn't throw a flag the first two times the OSU players flashed the sign because it was early and the score was relatively close. But late in the game, when Ohio State is up four scores and is obviously the winner? It was seen as unsportsmanlike.

  • @j6stearns This pic is of Devier Posey in the 2nd qtr after scoring a TD and the penalty was called. Buckeyes were only up 17-7 before that.

  • @In19944 Man, let's face it: No one should celebrate beating Michigan nowadays. It's like beating up a retarded kid and celebrating.

And I don't even like Ohio State. lol.

  • @In19944

Its for the same reason smartass

  • @j6stearns Oregon does it every game, every touchdown and has never gotten flagged. They beat their opponents by like 60 points. Except for Ohio State that is.

  • @redslinkie Big Ten referees are the only ones who flag for it. TCU doesn't get flagged either and they flash the Horned Frog multiple times a game. Its all about the referees in the Big Ten.

  • @j6stearns it was a penalty because only the player scoring in this case is allowed to do it. In the penalty, you can see a lineman come over and do the same thing. Therefor having the penalty thrown

  • @McRb29 If this is true, then I retract my previous comment. Fair enough, and I apologize for not looking far enough into the comment block to see this.

  • @taa20 no problem at all. I understand the confusion. You see it around the conferences now. They have their emblem etched in their gloves when they put their hands together. The rule states, however, that only the scoring player can do it.

  • @j6stearns Rubbing it in? How? All they did was show a sign to the home crowd. They didn't taunt anyone or anything like that.

  • @j6stearns pussy

  • @j6stearns They were gloves issued by Nike. And yeah keep making excuses about scUM being uncompetitive, you make it sound like they weren't trying and got hosed by the refs. Michigan sucks dick, and always will suck dick. Keep living in the past, because Michigan's present and future sucks.

  • @j6stearns ha loser you got owned

  • @j6stearns every team that wears the combat once a year did this dumbass, if u werent so caught up in gettin drilled every year, maybe u wouldnt be bitchin

  • @j6stearns The reasons the ref had called a penalty was because it was thought to be an inappropriate sign directed at michiagan

  • Y does Oregon get to do it? We beat them!

  • this video sums it up. Go Bucks!

  • It draws attention to the player which is a penalty

  • @osu5inarow Well, every player has those gloves on. So, it's essentially drawing attention to the team itself, which is the only reason why over 100,000 people gather in 1 area for three hours every Saturday during the fall.

  • @osu5inarow Then they might as well start banning touchdowns as well, since they draw attention as well. It's a moronic penalty!

  • I'll te3ll you why this was a penalty. BECAUSE THE HEAD REF IS FROM MICHIGAN ! 7 IN A ROW ! GO BUCKS !

  • Remember the Rose Bowl last year? EVERY time Oregon got so much as a first down, they were flashing the "O" on THEIR gloves all over the place with no flag at all. Unsportsmanlike conduct penalties should be reserved for fights, late hits, etc..... not these ridiculous moronic things. * also this past weekend (Cival war 2010 oregon vs. oregon state) the Oregon Ducks were doing THEIR "Hand-O" again with no flags. Stupid, stupid, stupid. next they'll flag players for smiling after a TD

  • It shouldn't have been a penalty. If this was a road game and they did that toward the opposing fans, maybe it would be unsportsmanlike but this was a HOME GAME. Those refs were being little pricks about it. I also hated how they called that holding penalty on Herron's 98-yard touchdown run. That was complete bullshit. If anything, Sanzenbacher was being held. I wanted to climb through my TV and kick their asses for making those calls. I hate obvious stupidity.

  • I was at the game and there is no reason that should have been a 15yd penalty...TCU does the dumb sign with their hands when they score and it's never a penalty...Not like it mattered at the time but still some bull shit

  • talk about ignorance the officals were kissing tressels ass they didnt review any close plays that benefited michigan or saved michigan from turning the ball over

  • @MrTheNickShow Shut up.

  • @MrTheNickShow Just face it Michigan sucks

  • Comment removed

  • @MrTheNickShow Show us some plays that the referees got wrong on the field, and should have been reversed, but weren't.

  • @MrTheNickShow Dude if they game is close MAYBE i could see your point. You got beat 37-7 and there were no plays that were close enough to turn over that was going to turn that around.
