Clemson has had it's nationaly power at one moment

it's called the 80's they only won one national championship but they were almost always in contention

and if it weren't for their little recruiting incident they probably would have won a few more.

the 1980's are over and danny isn't coming back. clemson had their decade in the sun when they were a top 10 or 15 team every year. Don't fool yourself..clemson is in the same boat as usc on a national scale now. The only difference is clemson coaches do a great job getting them up for the usc game while our coaches fail miserably in that category.

How am I trying to fool myself? I never once said that I wanted Danny Ford to come back. We have a good coach, and I was simply stating that we had already acheived greatness. Unlike the cocks. And there is quite a bit of difference between coaching staffs. Ours is good. Your's has the potential to be good..but it isn't. Looks like the Ol' Ball coach has lost his touch.
