  • Dosn't that thing look abit aenemic for such an important document? Serriosully I write 30+ page documents for our agreements just about every day & I'm just 1 person.

  • Worst PM ever. What a slimey fraud!

  • @freofan1 You must mean that little turd Howard

  • Greatest PM in history.

  • Indeed! And declared the World's Greatest Treasurer by the world's economic brains.

A huge loss. A giant in Australian politics who was replaced by, what his own people accurately called, a rodent. And they were dead right about that.

  • @btbking By the distance of the Flemington straight he was....Keating was the BIGGEST brain we ever had and the ULTIMATE man for the war of the House Of Reps... Costello did jack shizzen as any Joe Nobody could have done what he did which consisted of Cut, Cut, Cut which so happens didn't hurt the rich... No, as always, the battler pays....

  • Whatever happened to charasmatic leaders? They are now stiff and question talkers, robots with no human qualities

  • Keating was nothing more than a foul mouthed mongrel dog. Neither him or that alcholic Hawke had any idea how to run an economy. The knew how to drink and look after people that did not want to work. Keating and Hawke should hand there heads in shame and they have no right to come out in the media and comment.

  • You have no idea. Costello; no structural reforms, bloated middle and upper class welfare and at the time when money was raining from the sky, he leaves the budget in structural deficit. Great legacy

  • I have no idea? Id say you are a true sheep. Middle class welfare as you put it applies if everyone gets the same. That was never the case. They assisted families with tax relief. Mr Costello was a genius. As for your reform, he gave the states more revenue than they ever saw through gst, set up apra and retired incompetent labors debt. He set up a future fund with 60 billion and left a surplus. As for your "structural dfecit" It is irrelevant as it does not exsist.

  • Lol, I'm a true sheep. Costello, one structural reform and it was just about revenue. It's not hard to ut taxes, yeah that makes him a genious. The Treasury earlier this year admitted that the budget was in structural deficit. He paid off Labor's debt while he was sitting back watching the eonomy grow after Keating Floated the dollar, cut tariffs, deregulated the financial system, introduced compulsory superannuation, delivered the country's first surplus and introduced an inflation target.

  • He was smooth, I'll give him that.

  • Love him or hate him (and many hated him) his ability to think on his feet, to set up and then slowly destroy his opponents in a debate will never be matched.

    I miss him dearly

  • His Interview last night on the 7:30 report was top class. He is dead right about moving to 15% super

  • Keating, Australia's funniest comic PM, Howard the most egotistical twat PM.

  • actaully id say that it was keating that was the most arrogant prime minster we ever had and he ended up as one of the most hated.

he made a mockery of parliamentary question time.

  • lol Downer was opposition leader...can't mistake the curly hair and funny face

  • Australia went down the tubes post keating, this place is a shadow of it's former self, Rudd needs to back up all his talk, nothing else will save us.

  • This was just an answer to a question, not a response to a censure motion...

  • Just the opposite now :)
