I would say she is equally as talented. Having seen Adele in 2008, her style of music is more popular, more 'saleable'. doesnt make her a better singer. Love the singer Laura Welsh.. exactly, who is she??? the Laura's and Ruth's of this country dont get a look in but should.xxx Ruth, you are talent personified and I wish you well. hopefully with Folk music becoming trendy.. fingers crossed for you.xxx

Can`t wait to hear Ruth in the "All along the wall" concert and on the cd. Have heard that the premiere concert of this ..when the cd was recorded live...was phenomenal !

Saw Ruth at Celtic Connections and she is every bit as good live as hers CDs suggest she would be. She imbes all her songs with a charm which I find completely irresistible. Her trio are excellent & produce a very full accomplished sound. She is deserving of a much bigger audience than was present. The only disappointment was the brevity of her set (I think she was restricted to 30 minutes) which left us wanting more.

Caledonia is one of my favorite songs and this is one of my favorite versions! I listen to Ruth Notman all the time and she's just wonderful!
