if it makes you feel anybetter a lot of people that get caught commiting these white collar crimes do go to jail. most get about 15 to 20 years and thier reputations and families are humiliated on top of that. the IRS can tear apart the house and take belongings and personal assets. I think they get pretty good punishment more often then you know. but both blue and white collar crimes suck. it would be nice not to have either.
To sum my last comment up into one little analogy: White collar crime in the last ten years has been committed by a few people and stole a couple billion dollars, blue collar crime in the last ten years has been done by millions and has stole a couple billion dollars (total over ten years) as well, MAYBE MORE.... not to mention all the innocent people that get killed during the robberies
im not saying any crime is right but the difference between white collar crime and blue collar crime is that white collar crime is done by a few greedy rich people (about 4 people in the last ten years tole more than a million) and blue collar crime is done by millions of people that steal anywhere from a little to a lot of cash, AND alot of those "blue collar crimes" end up with murders on they hands
