  • This is such a disturbing song when you realise what it's actually about. At least it's based on true events, otherwise i'd think Randy Newman may need some help.

  • Amazing. M chills me to the bone every time I watch it.

  • M is a wonderful film, good show

  • well done!

  • Well done.

  • so sad ... nice work!

  • Dear narfpoit77

    That's beautiful work - thanks & congratulations!

  • I wanted to add that I feel very stupid...I heard this song 20 years ago and since then had always thought it was about a man whose daughter died in a concentration camp, and he was waiting to die so he could be with her ("I'm looking at the river but I'm thinking of the sea"). Wow...I was a little off-base there.

  • I wouldn't say that's off base. The song is vague, sad, creepy and beautiful and that a beautiful, sad interpretation. It fits.

  • Oh, this was wonderfully done, and made a huge point. I am sobbing. Thanks for creating this clip.

  • Every time I hear this song it makes my flesh creep. This movie is the perfect match to the song, very well done narfpoit.

  • Probably because it's about a serial killer in germany

  • wow... perfect!! great song and i really want to see this movie now

  • M is such a dark, beautiful film. Nicely done with the song.

  • awesome vid! "M" is a great film, too!

  • Excellent idea to link the film to that song. I think you should make an extra effort to make the video even better. Thank you anyway.

  • perfect song, perfect movie - touching

  • Very well done, perfect song :)

  • This was incredibly well done, I'm really impressed. Good work! :)

  • I've seen this movie. I saw it in a theater somewhere

a few years ago... In NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.

at the a University theater at one of the branch

campi. Peter Lorre's characters were tremendously

influencial on both horror/ and comedy

    from the 40's-70's and today

  • He was a seriously awesome actor and it's a shame he didn't have the opportunity to play roles other than just horror and scary gangster guys.

I wish his movies were easier to find on DVD nowadays.

  • Wow! Excellent job, narfpoit77. **Excellent!** Makes me want to cry.

  • Whew! It's a relief to hear that--I was really worried I couldn't do it justice.

Randy Newman is sorely underappreciated as a songwriter, and this movie should be seen by a lot more people. Lots and lots. Peter Lorre...good grief. What an amazing actor he was.

  • Great job- thanks a lot

  • I agree completely. Excellent. Five Stars. Thank you, narfpoit77.
