they should never have shortened the ride - would have been great to watch a POV of the longest haunted house ride ever.

The cars came from Canobie Lake Parks old Pretzel (and Bill Tracy updated) darkride "The Swamp". These cars were only made for a short period of time. What makes them unique is that they have a mechanism in the bottom of the car that allows them to spin around. Unfortunetly they make to many riders sick so the owners stop them from spinning.

I remember when there was 2 sides to the spookarama in Coney Island.But in like '89,they shortend the ride and turned the other side near the entrance to Deno's Wonder Wheel park into a small game acrcade.Back before the late 80's,the spookarama was the worlds longest haunted house ride.

You would think after seeing the automated grim reaper (best thing about the ride), you would think that the Spook-a-rama would be at least a bit scary but it isn't. Too bad what he have is just 1/3 of what it used to be.

It looks like they where sending multiple cars in at the same time. They shouldn't do that since the ride is a classic pretzel dark ride and uses the darkness to make immaginary walls so the whole ride is in one big room.

im from ny ibeen here at coney all my life ..before in spooko rama yous went in to one dark house then came out side agian to go into a sec spook house they change it

I see half the props still don't work. Fucking pure laziness man! Fix that shit! Make the ride work 100%! It's a classic dark ride. Keep up the maintanance!
