vocals are incredibly low in the mix and maybe too much delay and reverb in your guitar tracks, sounds like an ambient recording, unless of course thats what you were aiming for.
Ahh dont listen to anyone its fine mate, you'll get a good grade :) Its only friggin as music tech anyway, the mark scheme is a piece of piss you can get a B even if you have never touched a computer or a mixer in your life, thumbs up man,i like it :) Nothing wrong with it
if this is just the multi-track recording task they mark you mainly on capture, you don't have to worry too much about the mix. it doesn't sound like you've got any bleeding, clipping, and your vocals sound pretty clear as in sounds like you put a good noise gate on it cos i can't hear breathing or background noise. so i reckon you'll do alright good luck :)
dont be scared to be loud with bands people think its all bout the singing bringin the guitar up and drums and maybe sing with more power other than that you sound great :)
tbh mate, it all sounds a bit meh. Personally i couldnt see this getting more than a C, dont wanna be a prick, but if you listen to this and listen to the original or any popular recordings you'll see. The drums are pretty horrendous, no low end and very tinny, and incredibly quiet in the mix. The overall mix is levelled wrong and is uneven, the bass is probably the only instrument that sounds right but is still too boomy. Its all lacking low end and the bas overcompensates stupid ammounts. sos
Thanks mate, I did all I could to bring all the levels up, but I had a problem with the drum tracks and didn't have time to correct it so just left it
