At will, plug into the wall. Encounter, fill the gas tank. Daily, recharge an electric car. The CO2 laser only uses electricity to run the pump, so dragon-born lungs in AD&D could use this plus 200 proof moonshine blood to breathe fire on to the enemy. A feat that may be good is recharge 6 on D6 on all encounter powers to recharge a power of the player's choice. If instead a level 11 paragon feature, also have an encounter power recharge when first bloodied and recharge on a 5 or 6.

@ni1337 I've seen lots of people play 2nd or 3rd edition with laptops. Totally up to the DM. I use mine to browse PDFs instead of rulebooks (control-F is my friend) and for monster stat blocks. Just works better for me.

so... I always wanted to try DnD but I'm confused as to the actual game. I bought a Heroscape gameset thinking it was the actual DnD but obviously it wasn't(still fun though but I want to play DnD). Any tips in how to start? should I get the rulebooks from edition 4 or 3.5? and where can I buy the figurines and the map for the game since I don't want to make one myself. thanks in advance if help is provided.
