Matteo have a better "technique vocale" than Klaus Nomi.

But Klaus belongs to the Cold Song, this is an all :)

Try to listen the Andreas Schnoll version. This is one of the best interpretation of The Cold song.

I love Klaus Nomi as a "Gesamtkunstwerk", but his quality as a singer is definitely overrated.

i dont believe this is PURCEll.I never knew where this song came from.Now I know the words fit terribly but I like it here better than nomi.Nomi popularized some stuff GREAT!Someone with aknowledge of the repertoire should continue what he started .Maybe me at da piano cuz i cant sing.NOMI was brave back n da 80's.I get him a little more now.

why sad? i think his use of chest voice towards the end is quite appropriate, as this is not an ethereal/lyric aria, but actually quite dramatic. (besides, it's still mixed voice and technically correct)
