But about the concept of derogatory terms... I am a believer in using comedy to weaken - if not destroy - racism. Racial slurs and issues only hold sway because we continue to hold them taboo, which in turn would seem to prolong the tension and animosity between different races. It's something that I know a lot of people will think stupid, but I think it can work.
