  • I am a former cr student from 1993. I worked for a couple months after and never went back. It took me 3 years to complete school. Looking back, I wish I would have never stopped. I could have had a very promising and lucrative career to this day. Hang in there! You can do it! It's a career that's in demand. It's hard and it's discouraging at times but it will be worth it. I am a SAHM of 3 girls and hope to one day actually get back into it. It is a technique you will never lose. Take care!

  • Hello,

Thanks for sharing! I am a single mother that studied court reporting years ago but never finished. I recently decided give it another try and I am currently working on building my speed all over again. UGH! (once upon a time I was at 150wpm) It's nice to see other people that are putting in the work and going through the court reporting education experience. :-)

    Thanks again!

  • Hi Candice!

I am a court reporter student in Mass. School is hard. I go at nights and have a family to take care of.

What is the school that you go to, and how is the outline of your school. What speed do you need to be at to finish and start working?

I enjoy listening to you! Keep up the good work and have a great week!
