doggylicious2, the reason mary does nothing as you put it with her dog compared to the likes of tina, is that she is doing 'Heelwork' to music, and she works her dogs beautifully. If she wanted to do lots of tricks then she would be known for freestyling, yes tricks are amazing to see, and entertaining but so is having great heelwork too, and thats what mary is known for!

Thank you for your kind response ... I watched Tina do a beautiful Heelwork to Music routine and win the HTM Final (I've put her video that I recorded on YouTUbe)- I couldn't believe what I was watching her dog do - One Tempi (skipping), Piaffe, Passage - all so beautiful. I guess then that 'the likes of Tina' (as you so eloquently put it) is known for her Freestyle AND Heelwork to Music and is the best of the best! Maybe the winner of the Freestyle or HTM Final should perform before B.I.S. ?

Obv don't get me wrong tina's performances are lovely and she has such a great bond with her dogs, esp when it comes to the slow routines i've seen at coventry in the past , i just think also the very simple routines with more heelwork like mary's are very effective to, as it was meant to be a strict riverdance routine. Its hard to think thats what routines were when mary introduced them years back! i can't see anyone other than mary in spot light before B.I.S even though would be great prize!
