LOL at "fuckerrash". So what you think that after memorising a couple of Liberal election commercials makes you a political expert??? LOL keep trying asswipe. Whose the 'labour' party champ? And just on communist parallels, who was it who introduced the float in the economy, the introduction of foreign banks and the removal of govt. control over industry and tariffs, all hallmarks of free market capitalism??? Ah that's right, LABOR. Get your facts right you ignorant tryhard wanker.

For all the people who are not old enough to remember the disastrous situation that the federal labour government put us in 11 years ago, look at the current labor run state government...they are/have been in control of the two leading 'shock' headlines for the past 4 years; The drought and the hospital crisis. Clearly they cannot properly run things at a minor, state level;

how can you expect them to run a trillion dollar economy? Labor are failures and want to bring back the old desiccated ways of trade unions and the ties of communist parallels (Julia Gillard). This 'win' by labor could be seen as a break for the coalition, letting the Australian public see first hand how ineffective labor and their policies actually are.
No, because if you were a little less of a self focussed individual, you would know that we have the trade unions to thank for creating the great country and economy we have. Go study some history and stop believing the fear campaign you have been brainwashed with for the past 12 years.
firstly, i have not been brainwashed for the last 12 years, since i have only lived in australia for the last 6 years and wasnt too interested in politics for the first couple of years. but australia has been experiencing a major building and property boom for the last few years and a lot of tradies are already earning more than people with university degrees.
so if their wages keep rising, soon noone will be able to afford building which will ultimately lead to recession, or at least a drastic decrease in economic growth.
i met a major property developer this morning and his company has not invested in any major projects for the last two years because they have been too scared of a change in government.
i dont believe that we should get rid of workers rights or lower their wages. i just think that most of them are already pretty well off as it is, so we dont need to risk recession by putting unions in power.
well when youve been 'interested' for 6 or 8 more years, (& a basic knowledge of history may help) you may realise that 'record profits' and 'lower wages' are not the only route to prosperity for working people. But anyway, you needent worry, plenty of your 'major property developer' type friends will struggle through. Ask them how they managed the 1980'S.
esdano your a dick , there is a lot more to running a country then Economic growth, this counrty is bigger then that , this country is Communities , Families and individuals and its about time we had leader the will deliver a fair go for everyone and focus back on the things that will make this country a better place for all like , health , education and infrastructure to support an econemy , instead of Tax cuts and budget surpluses
people who complain about the tax cuts, what do they do with it when they receive it? they put it in their pocket.
if you dont like it - donate your money.
economic growth increases our living standards - do year 10 economics.
the numbers rudd throws sound big - but when you put it into the amount of schools and hospitals (etc) that we have, it wont make a "revolution" nor make us "world class"
Lets give Labor a fair chance, if they failed to maintain the groth of the economy in the next three years, then we can vote back for the Liberals and allow Peter Costello to fix the damage in the economy which would result from the Labor's bad economic managment.
petitions are delivered to MP s every day of the week for a whole range of noble causes, why does Bernie Banton have to arrive with a WHOLE FUCKING MEDIA CIRCUS? certainly not to raise awareness of asbestos and JH we already see it every night on the news. I feel sorry for the man but it was a media stunt.
Labor is shit.
Labor will never be the same after keating and liberal will never be the same after Howard.
