  • I haven't been to Little 5 points in years...is Charis Books still there?

  • @betteroffsolo Hey Gail. Yeah, Charis Books is still there. I took my niece there a few months back.

  • Thanks for the great video. My partner and I are planning on moving to Atlanta soon from Tucson and this video makes me think I won't be homesick for eclectic Tucson anymore... :)

  • I know Tuscon is a great town but I think you'll love Atlanta also. Actually, I was back down in that neighborhood this weekend, entertaining some out of town relatives with the craziness down there. They loved it.

  • Thank you for the encouragement. Very kind. We are looking forward to it. Counterculture holds much more appeal than any conservatives want to acknowledge... Have a lovely night!

  • great video.

  • I used to live in a Duplex there lol. Underneath my floor was a Gay plumber, above me was a Lesbian poet and a straight furniture salesman and above them was a man in a woman who were both bisexual. They may have been friends or lovers. There was no way to tell and they never said.

Little Five Points is the real life version of 4Chan lol

  • Oh you are right. Little Five Points is a crazy eclectic mix of people. LOL

  • Yeah. Crazy in a good way of course lol. You live there?

  • No, I'm out in the suburbs north of Atlanta but always enjoy my visits to L5P.

  • I can tell; You call Little Five Points L5P lol :P

  • @Fishdogpigsquirrel Real life 4 chan it is, absolutely! Oh the wonderment that is Little Five, I love my neighborhood =)

  • what a fun video !!!! I don't know which one I liked best, the belly dancers, the band playing "Thriller" or the marching band....I've always had a thing for marching bands.

  • Diane it really is a fun parade! I love marching bands also. Thanks for watching.

  • I gave you a 5 star because that parade looked fun, music was good and everyone was having a good time. I can't wait for Halloween to wear my costume and go to the club parties and attend the parade here in West Hollywood. It's always lots of fun too. Thanks! ~Andree'

  • Thank you Andree!

  • Looks like super fun.

  • Hehehehe, that was quite a cast of colorful characters!!!

  • Robert they were colorful alright. LOL Thanks for watching! -Jim

  • The airbrushed horse @ 2:07 was really creepy! I had to back the vid up and look again to see what was real and what wasn't o_O

  • Hey Greg. You'll have to check it out next year!

  • I was suppose to go, but I didn't want to brave the rain. I was in Atlanta this day though, about 20 mins from ya. wish I would of known you went. thanks for videoing it for me (knowing it was especially for me of course)

  • Dianna I thought about you and wondered if you were there. It was spur of the moment for me on Saturday and actually I missed the first few entries in the parade because I was late. But, yes the video was just for you. LOL

  • If I'm not mistaken, you took us here last year too! :)

I really hope at some point ST ends up back in Atlanta.

There was an over abundance of chainsaws this year haha Very cool though!!

  • Hey Beth. Yeah, I think I took my photos for a couple of years back and made a little video with those. They were having fun with those chainsaws. LOL

  • This is the most entertaining parade that I have seen on YouTube by far! Great job bringing it to us, Jim!

  • Andy I wanted to get down there this year because I thought it would be a perfect YouTube video. LOL

  • yep, the only thing more scary than guys with chainsaws is a bunch of baton twirling Go-Go dancers. woohoo!

  • Hey Pinky. LOL That parade had a little bit of everything. LOL

  • Great Parade - some of thosl ooked too much the locals round here on an average market day though!

  • Hey Brian. Good to see you!

  • Great video, Jim! I love Halloween (if you can't guess). This looks like about the coolest parade ever!

  • Adrian it's always fun. I've missed the last couple of years but was determined to get down there this year and they didn't disappoint. Hope you're having a great week! -Jim

  • Looks like lots of fun, will try and get my daughter to it next year.

  • Yeah, check it out. It's always fun!

  • A completely pagan holiday celebration for a LOST people. This is exactly the kind of message that LOST people need. So the Lord sends you a messenger that is at your level of understanding. A six year old and what a surprise ya'll react just like a bunch of six year olds! Well that's where you are at spiritually; you are spiritually bankrupt just like you are financially bankrupt! Bankrupt Atlantan's celebrating a pagan holiday...Perfect! The wrath of the God of the Bible is upon you. REPENT!

  • Whoa! Dude. Take all the fun out of this why don't you. It's just a parade and Halloween is nothing more than a huge costume party. If anyone is LOST here, it's you.

  • Wow. If this video of a little parade has you this upset, you better not come near my channel this month.

  • Hey Adrian. Looks like we got the crazies all stirred up. LOL They were marching behind the monster float but I did my best to ignore them.

  • Jesus fucking Christ, buddy. If God honestly hated us, he would have done something about it. He has the key to the lightning closet...if someone honestly pisses off God, their ass is dead. I like how you say REPENT though. It adds to your insanity.

    Remeber: Religion=Good

    Evangelical=Batshit crazy.

Well, before I go, I might as well say, Straights for Gay rights! thats what I say.

"For Bisexuals, Trisexuals, and Homo sapiens, Carsinogens, Hallucinogens, men, Pee Wee Herman."

  • shut up!

  • Telling someone over the internet to shut up? The way to get someone to shut up over the internet is to not respond.

  • Awesome, That was so fun to watch. :)

  • Hey Debbie. Thanks for watching!

  • Well, who doesn't love a Go-Go dancing baton twirler? And how about that band called, The El Caminos? This looks like more fun than anyone could hope for on a Saturday afternoon.

  • I've never seen, nor heard of a Halloween parade! What fun that must have been to see live. I very much enjoyed the video Jim, I grinned and laughed through much of it. Y'all have some ODD folks up in your neck of the woods.. lol ~Angie

  • Hey Angie. They have them here, in New York and a few other places every year but Halloween parades are not very common. They really get into. LOL

  • That looks like tons of fun I loved the dancers!

  • Hey Dee. The dancers were great!

  • Hey that looks like a really fun parade! What a riot! :)

  • Hey John. Yeah, it really was a riot! LOL

  • This is something great for kids it seems...I like the cozy feeling to it. Kinda old fashioned, yet modern.

Woo, isn't Atlanta the crime capital of the U.S.? Don't feel bad, I hear my town is the Meth capital, LOL!

    Thank you Jim!

    ~Tammi~

  • Hey Tammi. Atlanta is a pretty safe place in most neighborhoods. There is lots of crime south of town down in Clayton County but I feel completely safe in most downtown Atlanta neighborhoods during the day. But, it's the big city and not like small town Alabama where I grew up and where most folks left the doors unlocked. LOL The parade was lots of fun and the kids seemed to love it. Thanks for watching! -Jim

  • that was totally neat to watch... most of the parade's I've ever saw are just usually different floats in them, with the "vote for me" congressman, and townsmen walking along LOLLOL - that was really interesting... loved the trailer trash one!

  • Ruthe I loved that trailer trash one that said "the secret is in the meat." LOL Glad you liked it! -Jim

  • what fun!

i had forgotten how much fun halloween and other holidays were until i had my son.

    xoexo

  • I'm the same way. I don't really get into it but events like this make it fun. LOL Hope you are having a great weekend! -Jim

  • Jim, I never go to stuff like this. LOOKED LIKE A LOT OF FUN!!! Thanks for posting.

    Ronnie

  • Ronnie I should have called you to join us. You need to plan to go next year. Anything they have in Little Five Points is always crazy and fun. LOL Hope you're doing well! -Jim

  • Halloween hasn't been a favorite time of year of mine since I was a kid, BUT things like this show what I like most about it - people showing off just how creative they can be.

  • Hey Curt. This one is held every year in the crazy Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta which is kind of the fun, eclectic, hippie like neighborhood and it's always lots of fun.

  • Wow i liked the crazy parade i have never seen a haloween parade before....col..xoxo Misty aka Mista

  • Misty I went to that parade about four years ago and it was so much more crazy that they caught flack for it not being more kid friendly. This one was still fun and kid friendly. Thanks for watching! -Jim
