@prime115 The voice actor of Ghost also plays Gaz in CoD4. Gaz is an SAS, which is the faction used on that mission, and either Gaz is in the mission or IW just reused the voice files.

@Kevooi You walk by moving the analog stick, just like on any other console. The Wii-Remote is used for aiming and the analog stick (which is located on the so called "nunchuk" that you usually hold in your left hand) is used for walking. That's the basic control layout for First Person Shooters on Wii: Analog stick for movement, Wiimote for aiming. Works quite good after you get the hang of it and feels much more precise than dual analog controls.

@KnapyPuppy I play with Wiimote + Nunchuk. I don't like the Zapper because it's pretty inaccurate for first-person-shooters as you also noticed for yourself ;) Wiimote + Nunchuk has a more "mouselook" feel to it.

@Fabian20011997 Hi! Die UK-Version läuft problemlos auf einer "deutschen" Wii (ich hab selber die UK-Version). Generell laufen alle europäischen Versionen auf jeder europäischen Wii.

Was die Unterschiede angeht, so fehlt in der deutschen Version der "Arcade-Modus", bei dem's Punkte für jeden Abschuss gibt. Ausserdem wurde in der Szene, in der man als Scharfschütze auf Imran Zakhaev feuert, das Blut entfernt und Kopfschüsse werden in Online-Matches „Volltreffer“ genannt.

@gamecreaterdude13 I had more fun playing this game. The Conduit isn't bad but pretty short and the storyline's not that interesting. Also the online multiplayer has its flaws (although it's good - when it's working). So I think you're better off with getting "Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition" for your Wii.

The highest resolution the Wii can come up with is 480p which is NOT actually HD. But to achieve the best possible video quality on YouTube I had to resize (enlarge) the Video to 720p so it gives you the "HD" option.

Listen, everybody - I was wrong, ok? I thought the somewhat choppy framerate was caused by YouTube's video player. Somewhere, somewhen I heard about YouTube reducing every video to 15fps but as it turned out that was way back in 2006.

I followed Khameleon's suggestion to re-download the processed videofile et voilà: 29.97fps, just the way I encoded it.

So it's actually the game's fps itself that's a little choppy, and not YouTube's encoding methods or video player.

Still this is a VERY GOOD port of a VERY GOOD game!

I also got the PS3 version and they are nearly identical - apart from the visuals, of course - but everything else is there: Every single mission, each and every weapon, a full arsenal of online modes, perks, challenges, and so on. The only thing that's missing is WiiSpeak support.
