Wow, sophisticated rhyming and awesome vibe. Hip-hop at its best, for me any way, has an element of danger. The rapper should sound like the master of his environment, but the sonic world he lives in must sound perilous, tense. When hip-hop sounds like that, it can best serve as a metaphor for coping with life on the wrong side of town, and that's what hip-hop's all about, right? Traditionally speaking, anyway.
