thought this was a bit meh at first, the first episode i watched was 13, then it grew on me. the antics between Mai & Mikoto esp (BOO-BEES!) Natsuki & Midori, Mai & Tate (once again, breasts are involved) & my fav, Midori-chan are hilarious. My fav episodes easily are ep 15 & 16, with ep 16 parade the most lulz filled! (hint karaoke, cosplay, beers and girls are involved! you do the math)

@Kurudoftw i've not watched them myself yet however i just downloaded both and i know that some people say Mai Otome is an indirect season 2 of Mai Hime meaning it contains very little to no ties to Mai Hime and you dont really have to watch Mai Hime first but here is the watch order in case that matters to you Mai Hime > Mai Otome > Mai Otome Zwei > Mai Otome S.ifr, the last two are OVA

It's strongly suggested that Natsuki later on after the series ends, accepts Shizuru's romantic feelings and goes further than friendship. Shizuru and Natsuki are in a relationship in Mai-Otome (despite Tomoe being there and all, Shizuru does love Natsuki). Listen to the Mai-Otome drama CD's. If I recall, Natsuki actually crushed on Shizuru first and confessed first.
