Pretty cool to hear how it sounded. I saw earlier grammophone types with the funnel shaped cones that played songs on a metallic cylinder instead of a vinyl record at an exibition last year, some still in good working condition and the sound was surprisingly pretty good.
How long have you had this priceless treasure?Cool stuff to see.
Well this was in my grandmother's basement for probably 50 years and I found it and am going to take it home soon. The reason it sounded so good is probably because it hasn't been played in 50 to 60 years so its wear is minimal.
