It's good that youve achieved a degree of enlightenment, but you are stupid (sorry, can't think of a clearer word) to suggest that Christ is the only way. I'm an atheist and i'm quite spiritual, and have moments in my life where I feel I have transcened certain plains of thought. Though I do have a phd so its probably not your fault.

Thank you for that. Its exactly what I needed to hear. I went through a miscarriage in October of 09' at 12 weeks and now I'm 5 weeks pregnant and had a scare. Tomorrow I find out the verdict and if I'm miscarrying again or not and I'm a complete nervous wreck!! I just need to put my trust in Jesus and let Him handle this for me.
@Elvenheim There is peace apart from Him? No, there never can be...not perfect peace. Maybe temporary wordly peace in material stuff, but all that stuff will rot and dissapear one day....and the things we put desire and peace in will no longer be. All we have is Christ, on Him we stand firm!
Since you are talking about the message of God, my comment was just to point out that this message began before Christ (through many messengers and prophets) and continued after him through Mohammed the last messenger, peace be upon him, where many more points where enlightened . So there is peace apart from Jesus, simply because the message have been in progress and continues.
A part from religion some people can have peace with their own spirituality, intentions...
