  • thumbs up for actually commenting on the song? which is my all time favorite

  • lol sooo other than the religious aspect of these comments... this SONG is my favorite! tear jerker

  • The young and all people say the/sing the same words in every language, walk of life and

and religion. He could have become part of the great human experience on Planet Earth.

Instead he is still trying to escape. He swapped one man made addiction for another.

A Sheeple and a traitor to the human spirit.

  • I know,I have to go :(

  • LOL at the audience... Who were once "normal" people.. now they're all muslims Oh cat stevens wtf happened to you...

  • For a muslim he does a pretty good job on a Cat Stevens song

  • @mojotre LOL

  • @mojotre He is Cat Stevens.....it's his song!

  • @mojotre Yusuf Islam IS Cat Stevens...

  • Men in this country are killing and beating women everyday, they show up on Dr. Phil, and Maury everyday. And they are killing their children. It's call abortion! And they are not Muslim!!!

  • it is just a pity he gave up singing and composing pop music... wow what a talent

  • Allah is Merciful..... :-)

  • like all muslims he will not speak out ,the violence to women and children will continue ,they bomb schools for teaching girls ,they throw acid in faces of their daughters ,they beat their wives and he says nothing how sad ,

  • @4frozenflames your saying shows how ignorant you are and you dont know anything about islam, go fix your women in your country and fix yourself first. In islam there is rules how to beat wives not like what ur narrow minde thinks, and show me where they thru acid in faces? get ur right facts before you talk and go get a life.

  • @mezom7md it doesn't matter if they have rules on how to beat your wife. the point is that they still do it. it is wrong to beat women none the less

  • @4frozenflames It is happening whether we like it or not. I jiust want to listen to yusef or cat stevens or whoever today before my life ends. Just want to live before i die to some beautiful music.

  • @4frozenflames Before the husband beat his wife in islam the first thing he do that he stops talking to her, if she still bad to him he abandon her from bed, if she stills bad he beats her with a TOOTH BRUSH or anything that have the size of it WHICH DOESNT leave a mark on the body and beating is not on the face and not tough beat. You just dont know anything about islam.

  • @mezom7md Personally I think that's in all relationships...

  • @mezom7md it does not matter how the man beats his wife, the point is he should not even lay his hands on her. a woman is supposed to be treated with respect. i don't know what your parents tought you, but if they told you to beat a woman then they are more fucked up than you are. and i bet all of the people who liked your last comment are a bunch of islamic bastards who need a beating.

  • @4frozenflames rofl do you even know how beating comes? and how you do it? beating is not harsh beating as you can see in the movies. Beating a women in islam is with a handkerchief or a tooth brush or anything have its size and which doesnt leave a mark on the body(ofc that happens after the two steps when shes been disloyal to you). So you better learn things correctly before you talk thank you and pls stop hating because you dont know anything about islam expect the shit of what media says.

  • @IxaSaheb What you wrote is just stupid. Why would someone beat someone with a toothbrush or a handkerchief? That's just ignorant and pointless. Nobody beats somebody with a handkerchief. You Muslims will make up any kind of nonsense to cover over your religion's horrible crimes against women and humanity.

  • @polarphilately your the ignorant one who will always follow what the media says shit about islam and you believe that like stupid. We dress our women in a repectful way unlike how your countries dress her like whores in streets.

  • @IxaSaheb Say whatever garbage that you like but you don't know anything about me or my "countries." You don't even know anything about Islam or the Quran because if you did, you would tell the truth. But then again, you may know the truth and don't want to tell it. Typical lying Islamo-Fascist.

  • @polarphilately i know about islam more than you do because i studied it and learn it unlike you, you just want to talk shit thats the point of what your saying. Typical ignorant garbage.

  • @4frozenflames LOL the beating of women has nothing to do with religion, some men beat their wives others dont . Dumb asses having debates about the dumbest shit.

  • @mezom7md What kind of lies are you spreading? You're publishing your revisionist views on the subject. The Quran doesn't say one thing about using a toothbrush or something of similar size. It says to beat the woman, end of story.

  • @4frozenflames don't say "they"... don't lump everyone together please! That's just not right because it's cultural not a religious aspect. You should never EVER raise your hand to a woman ever, and I would proclaim that to every muslim in the world... If you beat your wife you are going against what the Prophet Mohammed proclaimed as the word of Allah "The best of you are those who are best to their wives."

  • @4frozenflames Also do not bother talking with that guy as he obviously is clueless himself and should just sit back and not talk because all he's doing is hurting right now... painting everything in a very dark light when it's clear he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

  • @mezom7md and btw i don't know why ur telling me to get a life when you are the one looking at the comments.

  • @4frozenflames you are example of the ppl who got brainwashed by the media which talks crap and s***t about islam. So if you want to know the truth go know it from yourself, you will find a lot of difference and u will see the truth not like what ur saying about islam.

  • @IxaSaheb Here Here!!

  • @IxaSaheb The truth my friend, And im not against religion. is religion is a "belief" there is no factual and/or scientific evidence that religion any religion actually is real. it is faith and belief. Myself, being an educated and logical person can see that religion is a load of crap as evolution and science has conclusively shown this. start off wit hthe fact the world is billions of years old.. religion says its under 10,000your someone whos brainwashed... religion is just a comfort factor

  • @thesopranosrules as you saying that you are educated you suppose to know which is the most logicall religion for humanity and people. If you took every religion and studied it you will find that Islam is the most logicall religion for humanity. If you can point me out any religion logically/scientificly better than islam im ready to accept it today.

  • @IxaSaheb Though it is not a religion per se' Atheism. Full Stop. with the combination of logic, and inarguable factual scientific evidence that proves the evolution does and has existed, and that the world is in fact billions of years old (by radioactive clocks etc etc) science has literally proved religion to be what it is... a "belief". whether you like it or not. religion once again has been factually proven wron with real evidence (not "made belief supernatural beings i.e god)

  • I don't hate on religion, however I cant stand when religious people take it so literal. when there is NO evidence AT ALL that religion exists. However, on the other side Atheism HAS BEEN PROVEN.SCIENTIFICALLY proven. you can not argue with that... what does religion have.. ill say it again and again BELIEF. in other words, religion has sweet f*** all.. But hey! its fantastic for people who are afriad of death, gives them great comfort good luck to them im a realist.

  • @thesopranosrules if you are saying that Athiesm has been proven scientifically then why ISLAM IS THE FASTEST GROWING religion in the world? dont tell me its not and why ppl doesnt become athiest? you are not making any sense. Maybe you are educated but im sure that you didnt study "islam" or any religion and compare it with each other and find which one is more logically for human biengs, because if you do im sure you will realise the truth.

  • @IxaSaheb Atheism is not a religion. If it had been a religion it would be faster growing then islam. Atheism is simple the rejection of beliefs in a god.

Are there anything supernatural in the Quran? Something that is impossible to explain scientifically? If the answer is yes (which it is), then I have no reason to believe it. There's no such thing as supernatural.

  • @Darkeons The quran is the word of God which is enough reason to beleive....and if you try to find any mistake in it or anything which is against LOGIC or any FACT you will never find becuase its the word of God which can be discribed as perfection and hes the creator of everything.

  • @IxaSaheb I don't believe in a God. The idea of a god is silly and primitive to me. So tell me why I should believe it. All you're doing right now is telling me "I SHOULD" believe it, but not "WHY" I should.

Give me your best reason for why I should believe there is a God

  • @Darkeons Because me and you an everyone else are not created in this world for no reason, we are created to worship god, how? by doing of what he asked us to do like reforming and building in the land and do good in life and fight the corruption and follow the quran and shar'ia.

I dont say that to not have fun of what there is in this world but you should not forget the purpose why me and you and everyone else were created for and put this as the first priority of life.

  • @IxaSaheb You use the word Created. Why do you use that word? What makes you think we were created?

  • @Darkeons because for example if you study how your body works and every single part of it you will see how complicated in how its working and that cannot came out from nothing as how you beleive. There must be a wise creator behind all this who can do that...you just need only to think a bit about it and im sure you will get it...

  • @IxaSaheb So your argument is that a human is so complex that it needs a creator (a god) that is even more complex. But if that's the case, doesn't the Creator (God) need to come from something even more complex as well? Who created Allah? and if your answer is that he has always been around. Then you're making a special exception for the god you believe in, and that's not logical and reasonable argument

  • @Darkeons you are not making any sense by that question, i just only cleared you and proved you that god really exists if you used your brain a bit and think about how this system works in a very specail way that there must be a wise creator behind it. Maybe you just dont want to admit that god exists and keep creating excuses.....Well its up to you weither to beleive or not its up to you in the end.

  • @IxaSaheb Of course the question makes sense. Why does a human need a creator, but not a God? Why doesn't Allah need to have be created? Did he just come from nothing?

You fear these questions because the entire foundation of your life is build upon this hoax. That's the reason you are telling me the question doesn't make any sense. It's your way of avoiding it, and avoiding the confrontation with your own belief in Allah

  • @Darkeons LOL you can say whatever you want and how come god be created? can you explain me? there should be something in your heart to just believe not asking these non comen sense question. Oh tell me why islam is the fastest growing religion in the world then? why a lot of preists are becoming to islam? if what you say is true things will be difference and we never find that this happening. So you just dont have any proof of what you saying....

  • @IxaSaheb You are refusing to answer the question. You said that Humans are so complex that there must be a God that created them. Then I asked you why God didn't have to be created by someone, and you have yet to answer that.

Who created Allah? It's an easy question. I don't care about how fast Islam is growing. It doesn't impress me, just like it doesn't impress me that there's 1 billion Christians

I just want you to answer the question. Who created Allah? Where did he come from?

  • @Darkeons Allah is not created, he is the creator of everything, beleive it or not its up to you, simple. And if you studied all religions you will find islam is the most logicall one for human biengs. If you dont care, its also up to you, but if you want to truth you should find it out from yourself not from others.

  • @IxaSaheb So he has always existed? How can something as complex as Allah always have existed? What is his purpose? Why does he exist rather then nothing?

All these questions are questions you decide to avoid by saying "Allah is the ultimate power and the creator of everything" meaning that you all the sudden don't have to answer the questions. right? ;)

  • @Darkeons you see you have fear i dont but every time i clear you something you come up with new excuse and say oh you cant answer that...you are asking me questions about the creator how im i suppose to know it? no one knows its something which relats to him only and we have nothing to do with it, i just clear you why we should beleive that god exists and thats the point, you are out of logic questions, you going to keep saying i dont have answers about where and when was the creator, non sense.

  • @IxaSaheb So no one knows where Allah came from, but we should believe in it because it's clear? Aha!.. I see. Well it's obviously not clear or I would believe it wouldn't I? The truth is that there is no supernatural in this world and that everything has a natural explanation. Sadly I feel confident that you as a child have had these ideas forced into your head by adults in such a way that you will forever be unable to see reality for what it is.

When you pray, there is nobody listning

  • @Darkeons Belief in God is having faith that God exists and most people in the world believe in God because it makes sense to them. For me the best definition of God is in Islam.

Atheist also have a form of faith in their fundamental beliefs. Their faith lies with the hope that everything will one day be explained naturally.

Its difficult to debate this as both sides have strong faith in their beliefs. But Atheists don't realise they have faith and think they're fully scientific

  • @0mla1 We KNOW science works don't we? Either I have faith that everything will one day be explained naturally, or I hope one day that everything will be explained naturally. It can't be both. There's a big difference between faith and hope. Faith is an expectation and hope isn't. So you're making a mistake using both in the same sentence.. I don't expect everything to be explained one day naturally, so that really rules out the faith aspect of it. I trust science because I know it works

  • @Darkeons Firstly, I don't think using faith and hope in the same sentence was a mistake.

My main point was responding to your comments - "everything has a natural explanation" and when you questioned the definition of Allah. I'm just saying you can't use science to define God, as religion isn't scientific it's a faith and our life is a test of faith.

But it's good to see that you don't expect everything to be explained naturally now, maybe you will look at history and revelation (Quran) now :)

  • @0mla1 Saying that I don't expect everything to be one day explained naturally doesn't mean I don't think everything is explainable naturally. Because I do. What I mean is that the universe is so vast that we might never be able to figure it all out before we go extinct.

I say again. There is no supernatural in this world and i'm as confident in that as I am that the earth isn't flat. I am 100% sure that everything in the world can be explained naturally. I am 100% that every religion is wrong

  • @0mla1 And let me add something to that. The only reason you accept and believe in the Quran is because it has been pushed into your brain. All the information you got about Allah comes from people and it's ALL anecdotal (stories told by men). The reason I accept evolution and the big bang theory, is not because I've been told it is true. But it's because I understand the technical aspects of those theory's, and I understand how the scientific method works. I can even test it myself if I want to

  • @Darkeons The universe is not as simple as it may seem. There are many areas of science that are very mysterious and seem unnatural the way we interpret the rest of the universe. This is the case because if we try and go close enough to the ultimate answer of trying to explain everything, the laws of physics break down. Having 100% confidence in this would be contradictory. So you can't prove things like this, and a large part of this is the early stages of the big bang which you are confident in

  • @Darkeons Like I said in my first post. You have a faith (which I predicted you would deny) in science having the potential to explain the universe naturally, except for the philosophical questions.

A religious person has faith in revelation, the Quran being the final revelation (for muslims). We have faith that this was revealed miraculously and is the word of Allah. And for the people who read it and truely try and understand with an open heart and mind find that it makes sense.

  • @0mla1 No. Because faith is believing in somethign without evidence. I have TONS of evidence of scientists explaining a lot of things. If my brother asks me to borrow my car, it doesn't mean I have "faith" in the traditional sense that he won't crash it. No it's based on previous experiences. I know from past experiences that my brother is a good driver. You might call that faith, but it's based on evidence. The Quran is based on faith and NO EVIDENCE.

  • @Darkeons I'm not representing a God of the gaps. I have faith in Allah and know this can never be proved by science because if it did this life won't be a test. I believe in God no matter what else is in the world because it makes sense. Also psychologists have found that children are pre-programmed to think in this way. For me there is no doubt that Allah exists because it makes sense and I know science can't ever prove or disprove it so you can't call it the God of the gaps.

  • @Darkeons You like to believe in science and don't realise how mysterious it is and that you will find it gets contradictory when you study the extremes of the universe. For example the study of the black hole where there is nothing (no time no space) also when you study the earliest stages of the universe and before the universe. This is very mysterious and scientists have found that there is no potential of ever knowing this knowledge.

  • @0mla1 What the heck are you talking about? Of course it's mysterious. I'm extremely curious about it. Even quantum physics blows my mind. How can some particles be in one place and another at the same time. I agree it's all mysterious. But going from all of this being mysterious to "SO IT MUST BE A GOD" is such a huge leap. All the mystery of life, the universe, everything around us, is what drives me. I love the mystery of it and i love watching us find piece after piece of this puzzle

  • @Darkeons You like other atheist wish to ignore this because you find that everything else you know all falls apart. A few bits of knowledge has been drilled into you so much that you blank out these fundamentals. You got to realise whether you like it or not, the universe and life on it started miraculously, whether it's from a big bang or whatever else. Chances of this happening without a miracle is 0%. And science will never find this answer because its 0% and not 1/10^infinity.

  • @0mla1 See you pull that number out of thin air. You say the chance of this happening is 0%. What do you base this on? It can't be 0, because it did in fact happen. If there's billions of billions (or even infinite number) of big bangs, then many many maaany will win this insane "lottery". Making up numbers like "There's a 0% chance of it happening" is complete nonsense and based on absolutely nothing. It's a bad argument for saying it's a god

  • @Darkeons I don't know if your a scientist or whatever but I have seen programmes where atheists have talked about leaving no room for God any more. This is the faith I am talking about because you can't prove or disprove God. But they have faith and hope that they can do this, even though it is impossible. It's pathetic, and this is the kind of thing that has clouded your logic. These very intelligent fools, saying stupid stuff like this have brainwashed you and others.

  • @0mla1 A god doesn't make sense to me. There's EXACTLY as many of those who pray that dies from cancer as there is of those who doesn't. It literally makes no difference. So praying doesn't work. Go into a childrens hospital and look at the parents crying about their terminal ill kids, and look at the pain the kids are in, and then tell me there is a God.

There is no proof of a God, so I have as much reason to believe it as I have to believe the Harry Potter books are reality

  • @Darkeons Like I said in my first post, this is incredibly difficult to debate. You can't keep saying it's the God of the gaps. If you want to be scientific about it. Then you can never disprove God and I can never prove God, and that's the end of it. The reason why I'm being scientific is to question your thinking and not to bring God in it.

  • @Darkeons I found you commenting on God scientifically and questioning peoples belief of God in that way. All I'm saying is, that doesn't make sense. If your going to be scientific then disprove God. I don't want to be scientific because I know I can't prove God. You don't understand religion so you can't make judgements of religion from only a few things that you might think about.

  • @0mla1 The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. And yes I want to be scientific about it, I see no other way to look at it.

Let me change the view a bit. Why do you believe every single word in the Quran? What makes you think it's all true?

  • @Darkeons No, the burden of proof is not on the claimer as the claimer is saying that this is the test of life - To believe in God and his miracles, this can't be proven or it wouldn't be a test.

The Quran is in the same form as it was when it was first revealed. Many people memorised the whole Quran and this is proof of this claim. And I believe in it because it makes philosophical sense to me.

  • @0mla1 if someone memorises something then it's proof of the claim? I'm sorry but that is complete nonsense. The savant Daniel Tammet can easily remember every single word of every harry potter book if you put him up the challenge. He has great mental capability. Are you saying that him remembered an entire Harry Potter book makes the book REALITY?? what??? are you serious?

  • @Darkeons I didn't mean that mate. You need to read properly and with an open mind. Your logic and reading is very clouded now. People remembering it from the time of it was first revealed keeps it in its original form when writing it because so many people know it and they can correct each other. I clearly said i believe it because it makes philosophical sense, you need to relax n read properly.

  • @0mla1 The concept is the same thing though. You are saying the memory is enough to make something real, and that is a bogus fake and very bad argument for it having any validity.

Okay it makes philosophical sense to you. That's fine. I have yet to read the Quran so I cannot discuss the philosophical aspect of it. I read the bible 2-3 years ago for the first time, and has been debating christians ever since about it. I will read the Quran soon, and then we can discuss that aspect of it :)

  • @Darkeons I never said memorising it makes it real. I said it keeps it in it's original form. I can't say it simpler than that.

  • @Darkeons Good to know you will study it mate. I pray that Allah will help you read and understand the Quran with an open mind and that you will eventually leave this life as a believer. Peace be with you.

  • @0mla1 Lol you had to throw that in there didn't you? Have you read anything I've actually written? If there's the slightest bit of supernatural in the Quran then don't count on me "leaving as a believer". The only reason I will study the Quran is so I can debate muslims more efficient. So please don't give me your "I will pray that Allah will help you read and understand it" bullshit. I find that comment very offensive. Apparently you have no idea what I'm about despite out exchanges here

  • @Darkeons I can say the same about you. You clearly don't understand how a religious person thinks and this is what I've been saying the whole time. Your attitude of reading something so you can debate others will cloud your logical judgement when reading it. So for you to say that I find quite offensive too. Also the whole time, you are the one challenging without knowledge and understanding. I never intended to challenge you.

  • @0mla1 You are right about one thing. I have no clue how a religious person thinks. It is literally a mystery to me how anyone can believe anything without proof. It's like people who believe in ghosts, healing crystals, astrology or aura reading or whatever... It blows my mind that people believe these things without proof. I will never be able to believe anything without extensive amounts of evidence to back up whatever it is. I will never believe anything without tons of evidence

  • @Darkeons It's philosophical reasons why people believe in God. We already established that this is not provable or disprovable so you will never understand religious people if you continue to think evidence is required to believe in God. Psychologists have found that children are pre-programmed to think there are reasons for things to happen, so this makes it easy.

  • @0mla1 Can you link me to those studies? Because I didn't even know about religion when I grew up. To this day I have no clue what my parents believe in. We have never talked about it.

And if this study is true, then how do you explain that there's tribes around the world who has never had contact with the civilized world who has never even heard of the concept of a god? They had literally never heard about it till missionaries came by. Google Atheist tribes and you'll find videos

  • @Darkeons I think I saw this on an Richard Dawkins Documentary can't remember which one but I will try and find it and maybe I'll link it to you later.

What I would say about those tribes is that. Allah is the best of judges and Allah will judge them according to what knowledge and choices that we're available to them.

  • @0mla1 That's not what I meant. I asked you in regards to that study you claimed you had read about. I'm sure what Dawkins meant is that children are indoctrinated through their parents when they grow up. They are taught that these beliefs are true at a very young age, and it influences them a lot. You can teach a child anything, and it will stick with them all through life in most cases.

  • @Darkeons No, the study was in a programme where Richard Dawkins was in. It was a Documentary I watched, and I don't remember the researchers names. It was a study not to do with religion. Just to do with very young children around 4 years old i think.

  • @0mla1 Well when you figure out what it is called, then let me know. Because for all I know you could be wrong about it. I personally do not believe that it's true since I didn't even think about the idea of a god till i was like 15. I was literally never exposed to any religions when i grew up, so I can tell you that personally I have never had belief in a god. Not even a young child

  • @Darkeons It's not about God. It's about children thinking there is a reason for everything. So for adults it would be the equivalent of asking could there be a universe out of nothing and an adult would answer, No.

  • @0mla1 So a child thinks there's a reason for the existence of God or Allah? and the reason for the existence of God and Allah has a reason as well. Then we can keep going back. There will be a reason for the reason for the reason for the reason and so on and on.

When you ask "Can there be a universe out of nothing" and you answer no, then you could just as well have asked "Can there be a God out of nothing" and the answer should be the same.

  • @Darkeons I'm not very good with English so I'm struggling to write what i know from the research. But I'll make an effort to find it and I'll link it to you.

  • @0mla1 English is my 2nd language as well. I've understood everything you've written so far, and I think your English is very good

  • @Darkeons The study doesn't have anything to do with God. But you kind of understood what it showed judging by your last comment. But if my English was better I could've explained it first time

The thing is when we ask, can there be a universe without God we will answer, No. God is Eternal, this is what we believe in religion. You will only understand we don't ask what was before God because you need to understand that in religion this is what we believe and philosophically it makes sense.

  • @0mla1 yes but if God can be eternal, then the universe can be eternal without god as well. Whatever happened before the big bang could have been eternal exactly the same way you believe your God is.

  • @Darkeons We believe that God is One. God is Eternal. God doesn't give birth or was not born. And there is nothing else like him.

We believe that. We believe the test of life is to believe that. This will never be proven or disproven. You will only understand "why", if you understand religion with an open philosophical mind.

  • @Darkeons You actually thought I was stupid and questioned whether or not I understood the findings from the research because my english wasn't good enough to explain what I meant. So my english is not good just trust me on that, and I'm not stupid I understand very well. I tried looking for it but couldn't find it, I might look again and if I find it I'll link it to you.

  • @0mla1 No I never thought you were stupid. But I do believe that the reason you have faith and believe in Allah and the Quran, is because of indoctrination. It's what you know so you trust that it is true. Maybe there's some good philosophical parts of the Quran, but it doesn't mean that the whole Quran is correct or that god exists. A lot of books have good philosophical aspects to them.

Just because something feels good or right, doesn't mean it is truthful

  • @Darkeons how can you say "it doesn't mean that the whole Quran is correct or that god exists" ? did you studied the quran? no. I did studied the quran and i found no mistakes in it, because it doesnt contain any word or verse which is against any science or any fact in this life, if you go and learn the quran you will see.

  • @Darkeons So your attitude of me not knowing what your about and that you will always reject any religion is very arrogant. If you don't understand it, how could you possibly know it will never convince you?. I never challenged you about anything and said there is no need to debate any more. You said you will try and gain knowledge and I wished you all the best in the way that I know. I don't see anything wrong with that, so I won't apologise.

  • @0mla1 You don't have to apologise. But your comment was very arrogant as it made the assumption that Allah is real.

If I had ended the conversation with. I hope you one day will wake up from this delusion you're living in and finally see the world for it is. I hope you one day will stop believing in myths, then I'm 100% sure you would get offended by it. What you posted is the equivalent to this. I have too much respect for people to end it like that

  • @Darkeons Yes but we came to common terms with our science and thinking of the world for what it is. I never said to you that you must read the Quran. You decided for yourself you wanted to that so I made a comment on that.

If I had said I would study something that will increase my knowledge, you may have wished me the best of luck with it too.

  • @0mla1 You didn't wish me luck with it. You just wished (and prayed) that I would end up with the same conclusion as you. There's a difference between the two

  • @Darkeons I wished this for you like I wish this for everyone. I never expected you to come to the same conclusion as me. Let me tell you one thing about religious people. If they ever say something like that to you it means they care about you, you will never understand this until you understand religion and religious people properly.

  • @0mla1 I don't think I will ever be able to understand religious people. They don't make sense to me.

Why are you a muslim and not a christian? Or why are you not a Hinduist? Hinduism is thousands of years old then both christianity and islam.

  • @Darkeons We believe Islam was always there. All the prophets of the Bible and Torah, muslims believe we're messengers from Allah. They were all given the same message but the original form of the revelations given to the prophets are tampered with and changed. So a new messenger comes. And The Quran is going to be the final revelation and will never be changed and the reason for that I said in a previous post.

  • @0mla1 Perhaps. But you're not really answering my question. You're just telling me WHAT you believe instead of WHY you believe it.

  • @Darkeons You won't understand why. And I have said before it is too difficult for some1 to try and educate and explain why over the internet. You have to do your own research to find out why people believe this. I can't help you with that, sorry.

  • @Darkeons I put that number out of thin air just like the idiot scientists that say and hope that they will leave no more room for God in science, which we all know is pathetic. There's stuff like that being said from both your side and ours but the difference is you don't want to understand ours and judge it from only a few things and that's what's wrong. We accept proven science we don't have a problem with it.

  • @0mla1 The thing about science is that it works with or without a god. So if it works without a god, then why add one? The laws of physics allows the universe that exists today. There's no need for a god for it to work.

Also notice that you believe in PROVEN science. That's good! but you also believe in an UNPROVEN god? you said yourself that you cannot prove it just like I can't disprove it. Why would anyone believe something that has no proof?

  • @Darkeons Like I said so many times, it's revelations, history and philosophical thinking, this is why people believe in God. Science works and I'm happy with that. You keep bringing God into it when there is no need. God is completely out of science, anything to do with God is miraculously and in Islam we believe the test of life is to believe in God and his miracles.

  • @Darkeons I know what I was doing with the 0% that's why I said (not 1/10^infinity). Scientists on your side say there will be no room for God in science any more. That's exactly the same thing. That's their belief and faith so they say that. My belief and faith is with God and that's why from my own judgement, I would say there's a 0% chance there will be a universe without God. This judgement is shared by many scientists, philosophical thinkers and most people in the world.

  • @0mla1 Actually by far the majority of scientists are atheists. You can find different numbers and statistics on google, but I have yet to see one that speaks against it

The scientists that are religious, leave their religion at the doorstep of science. They have beliefs in their personal life, but doesn't bring it into their scientific research. I have never heard any scientist say that there is no room for a God. They just see no reason to believe there is one

  • @Darkeons Jim Al-khalili said that. I think that's his name and how you spell it. And you're right scientists that are religious leave religion out of science because they're the sensible ones. They know religion is out of science because it can't be proven or disproven so you'll be wasting your time if you tried being scientific about it.

  • @Darkeons It's the atheist scientist that keep bringing their faiths in science because they would like to brainwash people and say God doesn't exist. This is stupid because they will never disprove it.

  • @0mla1 No. Almost no atheist scientists even bother with the question. So that's not true. There's only few out there like Richard Dawkin who actually care about the question. The majority would not waste time on. They spend their time on more important projects.

  • @Darkeons OK. So we getting somewhere with this. Now you and I both believe faith should be out of science. Then there is no reason to debate any more. Now, I understand my religion better than you and it makes sense to me. If you want to challenge me about it, you should try and understand it yourself through research because it's too difficult for any1 to explain everything to you over internet chat.

  • @0mla1 I have always thought faith should be out of science. I've never accepted any theory of faith. I look at the evidence and then decide if I think it's strong enough to support a theory.

I will read the Quran, but do not expect me to be converted hehe ;). I will read it so I can debate muslims better. That's the reason i ended up reading the bible

  • @Darkeons You've been sold the myth that the universe can be explained naturally even though the top scientist are mystified and confused why the laws of physics as we know them break down in some parts of science like when we try and understand the earliest stages of the big bang. You've even said you have 100% confidence in it and that you can prove or understand the proof. Total nonsense. This is why I said this is difficult to debate in my first post. Also I was nice and said you had faith.

  • @0mla1 nonsense. So what if the top scientists doesn't understand everything? We used to believe bad weather, thunder or rainbows were supernatural. Now we know it's not. You are representing the God of the gaps. You're saying. You don't have answers for this and this, so it MUST BE A GOD. which is wrong in so many different ways. I'm typing this msg on a computer build by science. I sleep on a couch that comes from science. I KNOW SCIENCE WORKS. You believe in CRAZY stories without any proof

  • Is all the racial/ethnic hate necessary? the answer is no, everyone who came to this video just came to listen to the song, not to spark a racial/ethnic argument (at least i hope not). So, just shutup, listen, keep your bigoted opinions to yourself and let everyone believe what they want to believe :)

  • @hobopobo well said, ....

  • it makes me sad that he said the things he did in the name of islam, i love this mans voice but i thought he stood for love and peace and the fact he doesnt, is so disturbing.

I remmeber him as a young man, we are about the same age, its funny how sometimes things are clearer through a yong mans eyes, remmeber who you were and why.

  • i just love this man!!! he affect me in so many ways!

  • I HAVE THE SAME GLASSES AS HIM WOOO WOOO

  • i've always been a big fan, before and after his conversion, however, in response to the description, there is video evidence of him saying it, on the Hypotheticals show. When asked if he would attend a protest where an effigy of Rushdie would be burned, Yusuf replies "I would have hoped it would be the real thing."

  • Em Português: Fantástico, fico feliz por rever um dos músicos que mais admiro, sempre com a mesma qualidade. Parabéns!!!

  • wondering if the woman at the start is his daughter holding his grandchild and his wife beside them?

  • If you've come on here just to moan about religion why don't you go and burn some crosses or somthing and leave this to people who care about music. I bet those people are American because not even the pope is as messed up as their christian fundamentalists. It's a shame because it makes the rest of the world laugh at the US and think they're all that messed up but I'm sure most of them aren't.

  • @edbad85 are you for real? for your information the pope is the head of the biggest kiddy fiddler gang in the world and your so called muslim faith of peace and tolerence? well all i can say is tell that to the family of ken bigley who was beheaded (and then posted on the internet) so his family could see it and they are still waiting for his body or that of the woman who was shot in the head and for what? fucking animals the lot of them wipe them off the planet fucking cowards

  • @scitsWell if that's true of all muslims not just a few then all christians are guilty of torturing, raping and murdering people who won't believe in there silly little book for 2000 years. Things would be a lot better with no religion and maybe people would leave comments about music instead of spreading hate. Two wrongs only make a right if you're 6.

  • Not fond of Muslims but this man is a talented singer and I give him respect for that.

  • @moonfruit100 your username says it all you must be living on the moon i should'nt be asking myself what has the muslim faith done to me but what has the muslim faith done to my faith and country and your point on its growing says it all. its nothing more than a cancer and if you want to spout its a religeion of peace and tolerence go tell it to the family of ken bigley. yes he's one of many westerners beheaded in the name of islam you lot are the real racists and need to be blown away

  • too bad he stopped making music for a long time

  • sehr schöne Stimme

  • beautiful

  • This has to be one of the finest short songs ever written.. I don't give a flying fartle about your religious viewpoint, this is about raising children or living with parents depending on where you stand in your life song stream. We are all part of this great big cycle, and you know it.

  • grande

  • Its good to see cat stevens still sounds as he did good back 40 years ago.

  • @1abadawy lol, you are so right... perhaps the C word... undermines your message In light and love.

  • The Music is so beautiful and the lyrics, so insightful. Religion divides, Music Unites.

None of us are right, but we are all beautiful. Embrace what makes you enjoy your brief existence here, not what divides or instills fear. A Kabbalist and a Sufi know to gain deeper insight from each others experience. Wrap yourself in Love rather than a flag, or a star or a crescent or a cross. Nameste

  • @eurekanet:Torah and gospel are the books of islam like the quran.and to be believer in the islam(the only relegion of god)you have to believe in books of allah(torah, gospel ,quran)and his messengers(muhammed the leader of messengers,jesus,moise..........).

  • @omarionato, great point.. Have you ever read the Torah? If yes, read again the farewell of Moses to his people before his death and see what is worng with your comment?

  • Revelations of a mystic: Islam was brought by Satan against Judaism. Every reference in the Quran to Allah is actually a reference to Satan. The hatred, ignorance, and division amongst nations will continue until the religion of Satan is defeated. Satan revealed its true intentions, via Muhammad, his representative , in 2|191, 8|12, 8|69, 9|5, 9|29. He also added the notion of Hell and Heaven from the plagiarized Torah to cause more suffering. All Moslems should read Torah to understand.

  • @Eurekanet do ur reading and research before talking and stop telling lies to people about islam

  • @Eurekanet If you can't shut up and enjoy the music, just fuck off, please.

  • @Eurekanet 2|191 says for persecution is worse than slaughter

this is the only verse i looked in the quran..i just want you to know that there's nothing in the quran that says you must kill...nothing ! you must read the whole "Sura" so you can understand the meaning.. and in the begining of EVERY "Sura" it says "i seek Allah's protection from the rejected satan" then "in the name of god the most compassionate the most merciful" so believe me you are wrong ! with all of my respect..

  • Like James Taylor, that voice sounds just as good as it did 30 years ago.

  • I see the foolish left wingers still listen to what was once Cat Stevens songs, judging by their blind and foolish comments on her essentially attacking more brighter or wiser people for pointing out that Cat Stevens join or converted to one of the most insidious, evil, violent, hate filled, sexist, racist cults the world has ever seen, islam. If that doesn't bother you, you have got to be brain dead. Wake up smell the coffee, the world has been declared war upon by this sinister cult.

  • @GTCism If we don't agree with his comments, does that mean we can't enjoy his music?

  • Love this song...

  • that was a jam!!!
