Fair enough. Since you train so much I'd recommend a protein shake, fish oil caps and mauybe a multivit.. Keep it up Robin and get to the u.k. It will help you develop your game!
@Robinpeys it will help with your recovery and building muscle. you need protein to repair and build muscles, and you can get pure protein in a protein shake instead all of the other shit like carbs and fat that you find in food. (unless your taking a high carb shake)
@Robinpeys Proteins are essential to repair and develop new muscle fibres, a protein shake is also very useful because when eating we take in fat, carbs, sugars etc. and also because when we eat we become bloated and most people wait before partaking in exercise due to indigestion.
@Robinpeys If you are an elite athlete like these guys or just looking to get the upper hand on your opposition, then yes, with the right protein shake/s and fitness/speed/power workout it will work wonders for you!
@Robinpeys Mate.....buy £30 worth of chicken for the month rather than a shake. These guys need it because they are 'professional' and this is their job. The average Joe doesn't need this shit because they don't train as intensely. Remember that the supplement giants spend a shit load of money on advertising but you only need it if you are at the top! Eat real food instead. Jonesay's advice is bad. Most people don't eat enough calories anyway. Eat the right food at the right time...done!
@LunchtimeLoonies Yeah it's mostly because they let their muscles work so hard that they need the extra proteïn to recover, but i've played the national belgium team, in pre season i train 6 days a week, and i play in the first team wich is second division in Belgium, maybe i'm going abroad to play in the UK somewhere, yes it's not as big as them. now i'm off, not doing much, just some running here and there. but i took it when i was in pré season last year and it helped much + healthy diet
@anohsh Ice baths are good after a hard work out to help your muscles recover quicker. Can prevent some of the pains you'd normally experience. Its bloody painful though! A lot harder than the actual workout.
@vinniechan. ye couz the fitter you are the more you get injured... didnt you like notice the proffecional help they get for everything: training and diet and whatever? i think they would notice if ppl get overtrained..
That's the thing, if you look at players from NZ, like Richie McCaw, who came through club and university rugby instead of coming straight to academy then club - their game seems more instinctive and less analytical
Anyone know the song they are working out to starting from 0.52 seconds in?

No much rest do those players get in a year?
No wonder England is so blighted by injury.
