  • I picture rick as a corporate douche , nice song.

  • ugh...this is just noise

  • @maursbar music is also made of noise.

  • this song is about rick morranis

  • 8 People don't understand who Rick is.

  • lol i am loughing about this fuckin rick, where is rick from, what does Eritrea got to do with fuckin rick, hey guys please sing about Eritrea it is going togrow by 17% in 2011 if u do rhat i will donate u few coins. viva Eritrea

  • i feel bad for rick. what did he do to deserve such abuse?

  • This live version or B-side or whatever it is is absolutely killer

  • "come on rick, I gotta crap...."

  • who tf is rick

  • who the fuck is rick?

  • @azarrab only when you are truly in the mind of Andrew Falcous will you begin to understand....

  • @azarrab basically he is saying, "its too obscure, you probably wouldnt understand"

  • hes fuckin rick for fuck sake

  • @azarrab I guess Rrick represents all the cockroaches of this world. Most of them are humans!

  • @azarrab

I reckon rick is the government prick whom can't trust it's citizens

  • ♥ love this song!

  • @geometrybot "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"

  • Eritrea is a country. Duh.

  • Come on RICK!

  • yay future of the left (Y)

  • does anybody know how to play this song on guitar??

  • Great Fucking song

And the Band is called Future Of The Left

  • Why do they call themselves "Arming Eritrea"??

  • @eriblood thats the song name, they are Future Of The Left

  • oke but what does the name of the song mean?

  • no idea :L they are rather random!

  • Eritrea is a war-torn country in eastern Africa....

  • I know, I'm from Eritrea and the US gave us sanctions via the UN for no reason after they found out that our economy was growing without their assistance.

  • @eriblood No they put sanction on Eritrea because Afwerki is a power hungry dick.

  • @ElGeneral09 No dumbass we love him, he aint no puppet of the West. we never kneel down to you guys especially the NWO. America supports many dictators all over the world.

  • @eriblood HAHA NWO, I see, your one of those, ok. I quess your opinion is uh, valid[?].

  • @ElGeneral09 Since '45 your government has attempted to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments. If you follow Alex jones then you'll understand what I'm talking about.

  • @eriblood I know. My mother's from Guatemala, a country who's democratically elected president was overthrown in a coup initiated by the CIA. But it's not America's fault [collectively] its jerks like Allan Foster Dulles [individuals] who fuck shit up. Its ridiculous to think a group of people want to run the world, its just weird... Or that the whole of the United States is evil...

  • @ElGeneral09 The bilderberg group (global elites) wanna take control over the world. I'm not saying that the whole country including the citizens are responsible for all the madness that is taking place in this world. Secret societies run America, there is no democracy in the US. They also wanna control Iran and put a puppet in there. I've done my research, watched many documentaries and interviews and i can tell you that sick people run America

  • @eriblood You're more right than you could ever know. Speaking as an American citizen, our so called "democracy" is a joke. A horrible, painful joke. And no, I am not a "Tea -Party" member. Those people are just the extreme right, coming out of the wood-work.

  • @eriblood eritrea is a country in East-Africa

  • Reminds me of The Equestrian by Les Savy Fav... still a good song though!

  • Future of the Left consists of singer/guitarist Andy "Falco" Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone, both previously of Cardiff band mclusky, alongside singer/bassist Kelson Mathias, formerly of the Ammanford-based group Jarcrew.

  • Anyone else find they're reminiscent of At The Drive-In? Maybe the vocals?

(Calm down: I'm not saying they ripped them off. I'm just trying to pin down who they remind me of.)

So glad someone recommended FOTL to me! Catchy, catchy shit :)

  • reminiscent of mclusky if ya ask me ;-)

  • The intro riff reeks of Shellac, but nay bother, it's good stuff.

  • i like this demo more than i do the fucking recording fucking amazing

  • yeah i thought the same thing the opening chords. the shitty recording quality makes it feel way more savage and off-the-cuff.

  • I agree

  • muito foda!!!!!

  • whut the fuck? like the defensive shit on b0g! snoop dogg will kill you!

  • What an absolute tune!

  • LOL no

  • come on rick!

  • im so randy now XD

  • GREAT!

  • Pukkelpop! :D

  • Falls festival!!!

  • Amazing, this is a demo of the song though.

  • this band is amazing and deserve more credit for what they're getting!

  • hey hey

    this is cool guys =P

    luv it

  • i saw them twice....i love them... can a person marry the future of the left?

  • Only saw mclusky so far, but keen to see this line-up. Nice idea bout the marriage. I love their just giving straight to me that I want everyone to listen to. They give a form to all that unbearable bull in the world without leaving you you feeling weak, sick, and alone. Great stuff.

  • anyone know who rick is?

  • so what gave you the idea to include Eritrea in the title? What is just like random?

  • Ummm why do you think..... ITS THE NAME OF THE SONG!!!!!!

  • I put the video on cuz i liked the song....

  • Oh so you didn't make this song? Obviously I thought you made the song...

  • Numpty... :D No i didn't make it haha it's just a good song from their new album :P

  • Fucking A!!!!

  • Amazing ( lol )

ezi ke entay ybahal dekey ,,,xD

  • Sometimes it's not about the Eritrea...

  • They started their set at Clwb with this tonight. Amazing,

  • Yeah, but it's 'arm eritrea', not 'are eritrea'....

  • What has this tune got to do with eritrea.

  • It has'nt got anything to do with eritrea

  • @DJT1611 then perhaps the band shouldn't associate a country they have no clue about with arms and militarization if they don't want to seem like they're making some sort of political declaration because it sure seems like it with this notion of "freedom" and "arming so she doesn't have to pay her."

  • @rahooli look, they sing about what concerns them, it's just their take on it, don't take it so literally. I just liked the band, was excited about their new song, so of course i was happy when I found this live version and wanted to share it with people!

  • Comment removed

  • @rahooli Anybody who takes anything Andy Falkous says seriously needs to change their perspective. You sir, are a fucking dingus.

  • @RyanLaquer well said.

  • @rahooli

He's just telling a story as a character. The views expressed in the lyrics do not necessarily represent his own. Not to mention the fact that the story might not even take place in the present day.

  • Yep, sorry, I messed up the lyrics.

Like I said, I think it's less about Eritrea and more about the rhyme.

BTW, there's about a half dozen live versions out there on YouTube now.

  • lol seb teselilomena, nay shyetan muzika mes adena dema hegis kea. huluf halifewom

  • Do you happen to have the lyrics to this song. or any other details for that matter. Thanx in advance

  • I have no idea what this has to do with Eritrea?
