The people of Britain should be very proud to possess the intellectual infrastructure called "the class system". We Japanese have lost it or I should say the Americans destroyed it, and we have not got the gut to rebuild it.
Class system is not all about poverty and divisions in society. It is also about producing leaders.
Don't slag off the aristocracies and royals however degenerate and stupid some of them may be. Don't destroy Oxbridge however eccentric and out of touch some dons may be.

Thank you for posting this amazing biography. I think that Winston Churhill was one of the greatest men of the 20th. century. I'm Canadian, and he was very well thought of here. I went to Winston Churchill elementary school.
