in the EXIF data can be viewed as the photo was taken. I think it was manual mode with Auto ISO, because auto mode will never choose the shutter speed 1 / 750 and aperture 16 and ISO 1250

@Nissanqaskai actually this is a great photo. The guy used a f/ stop of 16 so his shutter speed decreased and to compensate for that he had to bump the iso higher to get a higer shutter speed....if he had a tripod he could have used a lower iso and used a slower shutter speed.....You need some more learning friend. Check out Jareds iso and depth of field videos then youll understand.

hey jared, not sure if you know this but open the raw files with the Preview program in osx. Then run the inspector and you can see way more meta data than lightroom provides, including what mode the photo was shot at, what setting was set manually, full lens description, shutter count etc.

Great video as usual, also great picture but his settings were just terrible... He basically introduced a ton of noise to a pic that could have been all but noiseless if shot correctly. This is why I love Greg and the Fro, I literally learn something new everyday. Keep it up!!

Hey Jared, I got a d5000.. when using manual mode you can enter 1/750 as aswell as use an iso of 1250.

@FinlandApollo Not really, the program requires 1GB of hard drive. It requires more RAM than hard drive space. I have a 2.0 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and 320GB of hard drive and it runs smoothly.

what if you take the uba dupa high ISO to you advantage and make an old-style-lookin picture?like those veeeery old pictures from the '10s or '20s?!?

so you could booom the grain and noise, put a lot of vignetting and end up havin something original....

Jared, regarding shooting RAW in auto..it depends on the camera model. With the 7D, you cannot shoot RAW in full auto (the green box) but you can with the other settings. I'm not sure how it works with Nikon.

i got a mouse made by razer. Its made for gaming, so it can be adjusted to a very high dpi. Works great for everything else including work in photoshop and lightroom imho. Awsome mouse pad btw would love to pick one up.
