What I do is Loop with the Kaossilator, until I am happy with one track...then record it in my DAW. Then erase the Kaoss track, press record in my DAW and start over with new sounds...or just one sound....then start the process over...this way you can use your DAW to refine, add fx, master and edit....is freaking awesome!

The S.71 and S.75 programs apparently loop themselves; it goes on even when you stop the loop. That's great.

I have it for 2 weeks now, tried a few videos. One great trick is: go to d.84, tap anywhere on the top edge of the pad and WAIT. It will make a rising feedback. Tap anywhere else or change the program to stop it.

Also, one performance trick is to hold down Scale and tap Loop to go quickly back to the Program menu from any of the other menus (Scale, Key, Gate or Loop Length).

@horstinatemymind There is no memory except audio storage (Fix) of one 8-beat sequence. You can layer more sounds but can Erase any unFixed stuff. Typical Kaossilator songs would be baseline rhythm, add, subtract, add, subtract kind of pattern. You can't transfer anything but sounds to a computer, and if you hit the off switch you lose everything.

@DeadShadow72 The gizmo is a Korg Kaossilator.  But it doesn't store sequences. If you want to spend more get a Kaossilator Pro that has MIDI and USB outputs and stores to SD card.
