i admit this was not vonzell's best, but she still was better than all the others. and she does not shout all the time she belts (except for this time she wasnt really as great as she usually is), but anyways who ALWAYS has a perfect vocal. i promise you can find a flaw in anyone's voice no matter how good they are. But to me, almost all vonzell's performances are near perfect. that is why she is my favorite

That's why she was never in the bottom 3 and won the competition. Vonzell was good too, but Carrie was incredible.

She just hides it well. Vonzell chooses to take chances with her voice. If Carrie were to do that, she would not be as great as you think. Vonzell can sing ANYTHING you can name, and she would still be awesome at her least. Carrie would just be good or maybe even horrid, but you never know because she doesn't show versatility. All her songs sound the same, honestly. Also, her lower register isn't too great. She's good though.

I know its a good thing but you can't deny that she does not always have a perfect vocal. Like her vocal on I Feel Like A Woman. Not so great. She performed it suprisingly well but her lower regiser wasn't too hot. And to say vonzell is just "good" is crazy. She is incredible. They were the two best of the season, but vonzell was a better vocalist. I honestly can't imagine carrie singing a song like I Have Nothing. Now THAT'S taking a chance, and vonzell did it better than all the others.

Doesn't mean she's not amazing. I don't judge raw talent by success. It's indicative of it sometimes though.

But success is based on time, place, luck, and ambition. Some have more than others. American Idol opened TONS of doors for these people and some walked through them and others took different routes, not such successful ones. Dreamgirls is a perfect example. Carrie had it made when she was offered 'Jesus take the Wheel'.

Although I liked Scott the best on a personal level, the top 3 was the right choice for this season there is no denying the talent them three have and LIVE it is a 100 x times better , they are amazing singers! Carrie has an amazing voice, Bo is an awesome perfomer as well as singer he gets the crowd going and Vonzell can just sing her ass off! and Season 4 hands down is the best season, overall and individually! They all had an amazing talent and all sang different genres of music.
