hey......quick question.......how do you keep your tipper from sliding? I have put electical tape on it to give me grip but it still seems to slide in my hand and out of my hand :-(

I am drummer myself. I teach and play professionally. I played Bodhran for a bit, but there's too many who were better than me, guys like Robbie Harris, Ronan O Snodaigh, I'm not sure if you'll find them on youtube, but they have myspace pages. Check these fellas out. good luck to you too.

On second thoughts, the word 'spelt' is the past tense and past participle of 'spell' look it up in the dictionary. I should of said 'You spell it..' Using the presant tense. You find your self in the loosers position once again. Do some research next time!

I play the bodhran too. It looks real easy, instead it may take you something like 3-4 years to play it like that. But it's great craic
