  • Wher's a passager? : D

  • @MenNestor sitting on drivers lap. and they're wearing the cloak of invisibility

  • This series is one of my favorites (of anything to do with sketchyphysics) to date.

How complicated was the sketchyphysics modeling? And how did you get leaf springs to work?

I'm just getting started and am having trouble getting the "rules" figured out.

  • @yantski thanks for comment. leaf spring is in fact made of two rigid elements connected with a flexible joint. this rig was difficult and time consuming. with things like that nothing works the way you expect. theres so many joints and groups in this suspension that if i had to edit it now i wouldn remember what is what. the worst thing is the fact that SP joints are not strong enough and the behave like rubber. sometimes you can make use of that but other times it just complicates eerything

  • splendid work

  • Awesome work. Is this realtime or does it takes ages to render?

  • @Danny77uk It takes ages to render.

  • Very impressiv, I really enjoy your videos. What software do you use for rendering the animation? It sure looks good! :-)

  • @88thohan Thanks. I use TwilightRender and it can render much better lighting than in this vid. I use the fastest, low quality render setting to save time.
