The only thing about this video is...

SEGA still hasn't realized that Sonic should NEVER be driving a car in a RACING GAME. That kind of uniqueness would set Sonic games apart - everybody ELSE needs cars, Sonic goes as fast as he wants.

Sonic R got around it. Sonic could simply "play fair" and only reach non-excess speed levels.

BUT... I would agree if SONIC RIDERS wasn't invented. With the invention of Extreme Boards, they could go almost as fast as they wanted with it (it is a Sonic game afterall) and just have Sonic's speed a bit nerfed like it naturally would be in a gameplay segment due to game engine limitations)

@DarkRaiga oh yes! they are, i have a ps3 and this game in the last day i played it online with gamers from the uk and japan and us even germany and there this guy who play as tails all the time who's always come in first place he move strangly and his speed is weard! also one of them is playing as alex kid who always come in second and some one is playing as aiai who takes 3rd every time we play i always come in 4th though.
