I love all of Ariels albums, especially House Arrest, but you gotta know better than to go see him live. He only does it cuz thats what you gotta do to promote when your on a label. Theres no way to duplicate the sound of the albums live so he doesn't even try to.

It sounds great even without him singing, maybe that was the point, who knows, also could be something else entirely personal on that day, for awhile people complained that it was all studio gimmickry on his albums but....I think they have proven they can function as a band as well, maybe that was what he meant by not singing.
